摘要: In a trim system for an outboard engine system, a thrust receiver abuts against an output rod of a trim cylinder which is fixed to a stern bracket. The thrust receiver includes a thrust receiver body which is fitted in a mounting hole defined in a swivel case. The thrust receiver body is fixed by a nut. A steel ball is rotatably supported at a tip end of the thrust receiver body and rollable on an abutment surface of the output rod. The thrust receiver body includes a mounting shaft portion which has a first tapered surface. The first tapered surface is wedged to a second tapered surface formed in the mounting hole, thereby causing the mounting shaft portion and the mounting hole to smoothly abut against each other. Thus, it is possible to prevent the thrust receiver mounted on the swivel case from chattering relative to the swivel case.

摘要: A drive transmission system for a vessel propelling equipment 1 provided with a clutch operating device that can easily be installed comprises a shift slider 40 axially slidable within a propeller shaft 9 to move a clutch gear 30 through a clutch shifter pin 38 inserted through the propeller shaft; and an operating member capable of operating the shifts slider from above a gear case 5; the operating member includes: a shift fork 50 engaged with 9 fork engaging portion 35c of the shift slider, to move the shift slider; a guide member 59 supporting the shift fork movable in a specific direction; a rotary rod member 55 engaged with a rod engaging section 50b of the shift fork to move the shift fork; and a support member 51 drivably supporting the rod member and fixedly supporting the guide member, thereby sub-assembling the rod member and the guide member to transmit the operation of the rod member to the shift fork; the shift fork is so assembled to be engaged with the fork engaging section of the shift slider by fitting the support member from above in a specific fitting section in the gear case, thereby transmitting the movement of the rod member to the shift slider.

摘要: An outboard engine assembly for use on a boat includes an engine having a substantially vertical crankshaft and a pair of banks of vertically juxtaposed horizontal cylinders, the banks being arranged in a V shape, the cylinders of the banks having axes angularly spaced from each other by an angle of 90.degree. or smaller. The outboard engine assembly has a propeller operatively connected to a downwardly extending vertical shaft coupled to the crankshaft. The engine and the vertical shaft is accommodated in a case assembly. The engine and the case assembly are installed on the hull of the boat by upper and lower support members. Vibroisolating rubber dampers are disposed between the boat hull and the upper and lower support members for isolating vibrations from the engine from the boat hull.

摘要: An outboard engine assembly has a stern bracket adapted to be fixed to a boat body, a swivel case vertically swingably supported on the stern bracket, an engine body laterally swingably supported on the swivel case, and a tilt cylinder device disposed between the stern bracket and the swivel case. The outboard engine assembly has a corrosion-resistant mechanism comprising a first anodic metal element attached to a lower portion of the engine body, a second anodic metal element attached to a submersible portion of the stern bracket, a first electric connecting circuit by which the first and second anodic metal elements are electrically connected to each other, and a second electric connecting circuit branched from the first electric connecting circuit and connecting the first electric connecting circuit to the tilt cylinder device. The tilt cylinder device comprises a cylinder unit actuatable by a pressurized fluid supplied from a pressure fluid supply. The cylinder unit is disposed substantially centrally in a planar region defined by the swivel case and lying parallel to a tilt shaft pivotally connecting the case and the swivel bracket. The pressure fluid supply is divided and disposed on both sides of the cylinder unit. The tilt cylinder device comprises a cylinder coupled to the swivel case, a piston rod coupled to the stern bracket. The outboard engine assembly has a damage preventing mechanism for allowing relative movement of the cylinder and the piston rod when the engine body is subjected to an excessive external force.
