An optical recording medium dye is described. The optical recording medium dye is an azo metal chelate compound, wherein the azo metal chelate compound comprises the following structure: wherein R1 is a hydrogen atom, a C1-6 straight chain or branched alkyl group, an amino group, an alkylamino group or a tolylamino group; R2 is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a halogen atom, an ether group, a C1-6 straight chain or branched alkyl group; R3 is a hydrogen atom, a C1-6 straight chain or branched alkyl group; R4 is a hydrogen atom, a C1-6 straight chain or branched alkyl group or a halogen atom; A3 is a residue forming a heterocyclic ring derivative together with a carbon atom and a nitrogen atom.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a nanocrystal-based optoelectronic device and method of fabricating the same, such as light-emitting diode, photodetector, solar cell, etc. The optoelectronic device according to the invention includes a substrate of a first conductive type, N active layers formed on the substrate and a transparent conductive layer formed on the most-top active layer. Each active layer is constituted by a plurality of nanocrystals. Each nanocrystal is wrapped by a passivation layer.

A CMP (chemical mechanical polishing) apparatus having a measuring device for measuring a guide ring. A polishing table is provided. A wafer loading/unloading device is located at a first side of the polishing table. A measuring device is located at a second side of the polishing table. A carrier having a first lateral and a second lateral opposite the first lateral, wherein the first lateral faces the polishing table, the wafer loading/unloading device or the measuring device. A guide ring is disposed on the first lateral of the carrier. A transfer device is disposed on the second lateral of the carrier and connected to the carrier, wherein the transfer device is used to move the carrier onto the polishing table, the wafer loading/unloading device or the measuring device. The measuring device is used to automatically and immediately measure the severity of scoring on the guide ring.
Abstract:
A method for providing an improved displaying effect of a liquid crystal panel is provided, wherein the liquid crystal panel comprises two alignment layers disposing therebetween a liquid crystal layer having a spiral pitch and a liquid crystal twist angle. The method comprises steps of (a) spacing the two alignment layers at an interval with a desired twist angle therebetween; (b) measuring a first ratio of the interval to the spiral pitch of the liquid crystal layer, at which the liquid crystal twist angle is less than the desired twist angle between the two alignment layers; and (C) deciding an initial ratio of the interval to the spiral pitch of the liquid crystal layer being larger than the first ratio for providing the improved displaying effect of the liquid crystal.
