In other words, such an arrangement is capable of enabling imaging, e.g. by utilizing a detector that is sensitive in the second wavelength interval, a source of radiation that emits incoherently in a first wavelength interval.

The present invention provides a coherent LIDAR system comprising a semiconductor laser for emission of a measurement beam of electromagnetic radiation directed towards a measurement volume for illumination of particles in the measurement volume, a reference beam generator for generation of a reference beam, a detector for generation of a detector signal by mixing of the reference beam with light emitted from the particles in the measurement volume illuminated by the measurement beam, and a signal processor for generating a velocity signal corresponding to the velocity of the particles based on the detector signal.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a compact, reliable and low-cost vector velocimeter for example for determining velocities of particles suspended in a gas or fluid flow, or for determining velocity, displacement, rotation, or vibration of a solid surface, the vector velocimeter comprising a laser assembly for emission of a measurement beam for illumination of an object in a measurement volume with coherent light whereby a signal beam emanating from the object in the measurement volume is formed in response to illumination of the object by the measurement beam, a reference beam generator for generation of a reference beam, a detector system comprising a first detector arrangement arranged in such a way that the signal beam and the reference beam are incident upon the first detector arrangement with the reference beam propagating at an angle relative to a signal beam, and wherein the first detector array comprises a first detector array of first detector elements, each of the first detector elements converting the intensity of the interfering signal beam and reference beam incident thereupon into a corresponding electronic detector element signal thereby generating an oscillating electronic detector element signal when the fringe pattern formed by the interfering signal beam and reference beam moves across the first detector array; and a signal processor that is adapted for generation of a velocity signal corresponding to a first velocity component of movement of the object in the measurement volume in the longitudinal direction of the measurement volume based on the electronic detector element signals from each of the first detector elements.

    摘要: An immobilized enzyme preparation for use in an organic medium essentially devoid of free water is prepared using a fluidized bed. An enzyme-containing liquid medium is contacted with a particulate porous carrier which preferably has a particle size of 200-1000 .mu.m and a surface area of 20-1000 m.sup.2 /g, and volatile components of the liquid medium are removed to fix or adsorb the enzyme on the carrier. The carrier may have a hydrophilic surface and an amount of liquid medium is used to prevent agglomeration of the carrier. The enzyme can be adsorbed on a carrier having a hydrophobic surface, and the addition of a hygroscopic substance suppresses agglomeration of the carrier by absorbing excess liquid. The hygroscopic substance may be removed during the removal of volatile components. Contacting of the enzyme-containing liquid and carrier is in a fluidized bed where immobilization and removing volatile components are conducted simultaneously, or contacting is in mixer followed by removing volatile components in a fluidized bed. The enzyme-containing liquid may be atomized onto the carrier in the fluidized bed or in the mixer. Enzymes immobilized include lipase, and the immobilized lipase is used in a trans-esterification reaction.
