    摘要: A sensor apparatus comprises a first magnetic transducer which in use is positioned on a first side of a barrier and a second magnetic transducer which in use is positioned on a second side of the barrier opposite the first side. The second transducer comprises a magnetic or electrical property which is dependent upon a sensible condition on the second side of the barrier, such as the pressure or temperature on the second side of the barrier. In operation, the first transducer generates a first magnetic field which induces the second transducer to generate a second magnetic field that is dependent upon the magnetic or electrical property of the second transducer. The first transducer detects the second magnetic field and generates a signal which is representative of the sensible condition on the second side of the barrier.

    摘要: A flow completion system for controlling the flow of fluid from a well bore comprises a tubing spool which includes a central bore that extends axially therethrough and a production outlet which communicates with the central bore. A tubing hanger is supported in the central bore and includes a production bore that extends axially therethrough and a production passageway that communicates between the production bore and the production outlet. A first closure member is positioned in the production bore above the production passageway, and a first metal seal is positioned concentrically between the tubing hanger and the central bore above the production passageway. In addition, a second closure member is positioned in the production bore above the first closure member, and a second metal seal is positioned concentrically between the tubing hanger and the central bore above the first seal. In this manner, the first closure member and the first seal comprise a first pressure-containing barrier between the well bore and a surrounding environment, and the second closure member and the second seal comprise a second pressure-containing barrier between the well bore and the environment.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a compact and modular gate valve comprising an elongated body which comprises first and second ends, a hole which extends longitudinally between the first and second ends, a first opening which communicates with the hole proximate the first end, a second opening which communicates with the hole proximate the second end, and a bore which extends transversely through the body and intersects the hole; a first seat which is mounted in a first intersection of the bore with the hole and a second seat which is mounted in a second intersection of the bore with the hole, the first and second seats each including a passageway that aligns with the bore; a valve stem which is slidably positioned in the hole and which includes first and second piston portions that are separated by a gate portion, the stem being movable between an open position in which a hole in the gate portion is aligned with the passageways and a closed position in which the hole is offset from the passageways; and first and second seals which are positioned between the hole and the first and second piston portions, respectively; wherein hydraulic pressure in a first piston chamber defined by the first piston portion, the first seal and the hole will move the gate from the open position to the closed position, and hydraulic pressure in a second piston chamber defined by the second piston portion, the second seal and the hole will move the gate from the closed position to the open position.
