Abstract: Coating compositions for coating an oilfield operational component, and related methods, may include in some aspects a coating composition having a trifunctional silane, a silanol, and a filler. The coating composition may be applied to a surface of the oilfield operational component that is configured to be exposed to a fluid. The coating composition may be applied to at least partially cover or coat the surface. The coating composition may be configured to chemically bond with a cured primer composition that includes an epoxy.

Abstract: A drilling and production system is provided. In one embodiment, such a system has a plurality of functions that are effectuated at least predominately without hydraulic fluid. The system can be a drilling system having a rig (20) and a subsea stack (14) for performing various drilling functions, in which a majority of the drilling functions are effected electrically without hydraulic control fluid. In another embodiment, the rig is coupled to a subsea wellhead assembly (14) but is not connected so as to provide hydraulic control fluid from the rig to the subsea wellhead assembly to enable drilling functions of the subsea wellhead assembly. Additional systems, devices, and methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: A subsea hydraulic system comprises a dual (or dual action) check valve on a port for connection to a remotely operated vehicle (ROV). The check valve provides backpressure to flow in either direction. This keeps hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic system, and seawater out. If flow needs to return to the ROV, it may flow out the port, subject to a selected back pressure.

Abstract: An exemplary gas generator driven hydraulic accumulator includes an elongated body having a first end, a second end, and a bore extending axially from a barrier to the second end; a piston slidably disposed in the bore; in use a gas generator located in a chamber between the first end and the barrier; an orifice through the barrier providing fluid communication between the chamber and the bore; in use a hydraulic fluid disposed in the bore between the piston and the second end whereby the hydraulic fluid is exhausted under pressure through a discharge port in response to activation of the gas generator; and in use a one-way flow control device connected in a flow path of the discharge port to permit one-way flow of the hydraulic fluid from the bore and to block return fluid from through the discharge port into the bore.

Abstract: A moving-rotating linear covering tool, comprising a port, a primary oil cylinder, a piston rod, a rear end cover, a base sleeved on the right end of the primary oil cylinder, and a handle fixedly connected onto the outer cylinder of the base. Abstract: A subsea well production system includes a subsea boost pump coupled with a subsea tree conduit having a valve in the subsea tree conduit. A boost pump outlet conduit connects between a discharge of the boost pump and an outlet flow line. A recirculation line extends from the boost pump outlet conduit to the subsea tree conduit. A chemical injection line having a chemical source valve extends from a chemical injection source and is connected to the subsea tree conduit at a point between the valve in the subsea tree conduit and the intake of the boost pump. During production flow boosting, the boost pump pumps well fluid. During chemical injection, the boost pump pumps chemicals into the subsea tree.

Abstract: A valve, and tubular cage component for a valve, in which the tubular cage is formed such that at least a ported portion between the ends of the cage includes a tubular outer cage member formed from a metal material, and a tubular inner cage member formed from a wear resistant material. The inner cage member and the outer cage member are concentrically aligned and have a length to span at least the ported portion. Some or all of the flow ports in the ported portion include a port insert which includes a port sleeve formed from a wear resistant material such that the port sleeve extends at least over the metal material of the outer cage member at the flow port.
