Abstract:
A cable assembly and a connector assembly is disclosed. The cable assembly includes a cable having a connector assembly attached on one end and a plurality of conductor pairs extending through the cable, wherein each conductor in a first conductor pair is equidistant to each conductor in a second conductor pair adjacent to the first conductor pair. The connector assembly includes a housing and a plurality of connector contact pairs extending through the housing, wherein each connector contact is associated with one of the conductors in the cable assembly and each connector contact in a first connector contact pair is equidistant to each connector contact in a second connector contact pair adjacent to the first connector contact pair. The connector assembly may be hermetically sealed.
Abstract:
A suture retainer for storing at least one suture having a needle attached thereto comprises a molded base panel having a passageway formed therein for accommodating a suture portion, a cover sheet affixed to the molded base panel to enclose the passageway and at least one needle holding park integrally formed with the molded base panel and extending through at least one opening formed in the cover sheet. The needle holding park defines a groove dimensioned and configured to receive a suture needle and frictionally engage the outer surfaces of the needle to secure the needle to the retainer.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for establishing or improving a consumer's credit worthiness are disclosed. A system for establishing or improving a consumer's credit worthiness may include three or more levels, in which a consumer is provided with increasing financial responsibilities. In a first level, a consumer may be provided with one or more financial tools that enable the consumer to participate in basic financial transactions; for example, transactions involving a general purpose reloadable debit card. In a second level, the consumer may be provided with one or more financial tools that enable him or her to participate in intermediate financial transactions; for example, transactions involving a secured credit card. In a third level, the consumer may be provided with one or more financial tools that facilitate advanced financial transactions; for example, transactions involving an unsecured credit card. An administrator may collect information about a consumer's financial transactions, evaluate the consumer's credit worthiness and manage the types of financial transactions in which the consumer is permitted to participate.
Abstract:
A suture retainer includes a base member defining a plurality of adjacent elongated enclosed suture compartments for storing sutures, a needle retaining panel connected to the base member and having a needle park for securing needles attached to the sutures and a cover panel adapted to fold onto the secured needles to enclose the needles. The suture compartments are open at a first end portion thereof to facilitate insertion of suture portion therein.
Abstract:
A suture package for storing a plurality of sutures is disclosed. The package includes a plurality of panel members foldably connected to each other and arranged to fold onto each other to form a plurality of suture compartments for storing an individual suture therein. The package also includes an enclosure card defining at least two card portions. One of the card portions of the enclosure card includes a plurality of tabs and apertures for securing the needled ends of the sutures. The card portions are adapted to fold onto each other to define a compartment to accommodate the folded suture panel members.
Abstract:
A resilient filament retaining package includes a plurality of panel members foldably connected to each other along transverse sides thereof and arranged to fold upon each other to form a plurality of superposed compartments defined between pairs of adjacent panel members. Each compartment is dimensioned to contain at least one flexible resilient filament portion therein in a coiled configuration. Receiving port apertures are provided in the forward panel member of each compartment and are intended to assist in loading individual filament portions in each compartment. The apertures are in general concentric alignment with each other such that each compartment may be accessed for loading purposes from a front side of the folded retainer package. A backing panel having a needle securing park may be attached to the folded package. A method for loading the package is also disclosed. The package can be particularly useful for retaining surgical sutures.

Abstract:
A suture display rack and procedure kit is provided which, upon folding, presents a plurality of stacked suture packages for seriatim review. The suture display rack is a substantially U-shaped structure with a floor portion and two opposing sidewall portions. A longitudinal fold line is provided in the floor portion parallel to the planes formed by the side walls such that, upon folding, the side wall portions may be brought into the same horizontal plane to form the base for the suture display rack. The suture packages may be loosely held in the rack or alternatively hinged to a side wall or contained in sheaths for ease of review and removal. The sheaths and suture packages can be sterilized separately from the display rack. The suture display rack may be securely adhered to a desired surface or may be set up in a portable manner.
