    摘要: An electrical connector for electrically connecting an IC package to a circuit board includes a first insulating housing, a second insulating housing and a plurality of contacts received therein. The contact includes a base portion received in the first insulating housing, and a contacting portion extending upwardly from the base portion and received in the second insulating housing. The first insulating housing includes a first shielding member around the base portion of the contact while the second insulating housing includes a second shielding member around the contacting portion of the contact so that an electrical connector with improved shielding means is provided.
