    摘要: A novel agrochemical formulation comprising adjuvants selected from ilicicolins and lamellicolic anhydrides and an agrochemical active is described. A concentrate is also provided suitable for forming the formulation. The ilicicolins and lamellicolic anhydrides provide adjuvancy in the concentrate and agrochemical formulation. Use of said ilicicolins and lamellicolic anhydrides as adjuvants in agrochemical formulations is also provided. There is also provided a method of making the formulation, and for treating soil with the formulations. A method of obtaining the ilicicolins and lamellicolic anhydrides from culturing of Cosmospora sp., strain RKD01747 is also described.

    摘要: A process for making a surfactant composition is disclosed. In the process, a mixture comprising a sugar alcohol and fatty is formed. The mixture contains less than 5% by weight of water based on the total weight of the mixture. The mixture is reacted with an alkylene oxide to make a surfactant composition containing an alkoxylated sugar alcohol fatty acid ester and a polyalkylene glycol fatty acid ester. A surfactant composition and use of the surfactant composition to separate an oil phase and/or an aqueous phase from an emulsion is also disclosed.

    摘要: A method of dispersing asphaltenes to inhibit asphaltenes precipitation and/or deposition in a hydrocarbon is disclosed. An asphaltene dispersing agent is added to the hydrocarbon. The asphaltene dispersing agent is an ester of a mono-carboxylic fatty acid and a sugar. The sugar has at least 4 hydroxyl groups and more than one of the hydroxyl groups on the sugar are reacted with the mono-carboxylic fatty acid to form the ester. A composition comprising the asphaltene dispersing agent is also disclosed.

    摘要: A wind tunnel and method of use thereof. The wind tunnel has an airflow system which is capable of delivering air vertically down through, and optionally horizontally across, a spray chamber having transparent sidewalls, wherein spray particulates produced in the spray chamber can be analyzed through the transparent sidewalls, preferably by use of a laser. The dimensions of the spray chamber are preferably greater than that of the airflow system. The use of the wind tunnel enables a wider range and more accurate spray particle measurements, especially for an agrochemical composition, to be made in a single test environment.
