    摘要: A transmitter has an interleaver that sets an interleaving interval in accordance with the fading characteristic of a channel and transmits in another channel. The inteleaver duration is indicated by a synchronization signal and typically is 3 to 10 times the mean time between fades (decorrelation time). If the two channels substantially differ in frequency, a scaling factor can be used. A receiver has an adaptive deinterleaver that has a deinterleaving time in accordance with the synchronization signal occurring at the interleaving interval.

    摘要: An adaptive carrier tracking circuit for receiving pulse code modulated communications which have passed through a scintillation environment is disclosed. The rate and magnitude of phase or frequency fluctuations of the input signal are detected and the bandwidth of a circuit filter is adjusted in response to an estimated decorrelation time to optimize the signal tracking and bit error rate for the circuit. The adaptive carrier tracking circuit may be applied to communication systems tracking circuits utilizing phase-locked loops or modified Costas loops for phase tracking, or automatic frequency control loops for frequency tracking.

Heat from this external source is conducted through the finned manifold 16 to melt ice that can form inside the manifold 16 during the exhaust cycle. The exhaust manifold 16 bolts to the side of the air motor air valve 14 and serves to direct, muffle and diffuse the air motor exhaust using a deflection plate, a diffraction plate and an expansion chamber is provided in the manifold to direct the exhaust out of the air valve and down the center of the muffler 22.
