摘要： A cable connector assembly includes an insulative housing (1) with a number of passages (101), a shell (3) covering the insulative housing, a number of contacts (2) received in the passages of the insulative housing, and a spacer (5) assembled to the insulative housing. The contact includes a retaining portion (22), an extending portion (25) extending form the retaining portion and a soldering portion (23) bending from the end of the extending portion, and the all soldering portions are coplanar. The spacer includes a pressing portion (52) and a vertical wall (53). The pressing portion presses on the retaining portion of the contact, and the vertical wall engages with the soldering portion of the contact.

摘要： An FFC connector according to the present invention includes a FFC (1) and an insulator (3). The FFC defines upper and lower surfaces (10) and (11) opposite to each other, a number of gold fingers (101) formed with the upper surface and exposed outside to contact with a complementary connector, and a reinforcement plate (4) held on the lower surface and supporting the gold fingers during mating with the complementary connector. The insulator abuts against the upper surface of the FFC and has a receiving room (310) for receiving the FFC.

The visible area (431) is exposed out of the insulative shell. The inner cover is over-molded on a junction between the cable and the detective contact. The ring is enclosing one of the inner cover and the strain relief portion, and the ring is lighter in color than the inner cover or the strain relief portion enclosed by the ring.

And a flexible flat cable defines a forward end having a mating portion well-supported by a upper and a lower surface of the tongue portion and depressed by a upper and a lower inner surface of the receiving space, and the mating portion of the forward end supported by the upper surface of the tongue portion is electrically connected with the contacting section of the terminal extending into the receiving space.
