In general, the invention relates to methods that record the location of a user based upon their current and past location information. A network is configured to include a server programmed with a database of location information, a database of user information, a database relating to physical advertisement locations, and a wireless communication system capable of communicating with the user's mobile device. The location of the mobile device is ascertained and recorded. The location information is analyzed to determine if the user was in proximity to a physical advertisement, and the businesses visited by the user. The location information is analyzed to determine the effectiveness of physical advertisements, such as print and billboard advertisements, by determining whether a user viewed a physical advertisement and subsequently visited a business locations associated with that physical advertisement.

The location of the mobile device is ascertained and recorded. The system determines the businesses visited by the user. Managers of physical business locations provide content relating to their physical business locations the system. The content is caused to be transmitted to the mobile devices on behalf of the managers when it is reported that the mobile device is located at the physical business location.

Targeted content is sent to the mobile device of the user and whether the user visits the physical locations associated with the targeted content is monitored. Once it is verified that the user has visited the physical location, then any associated promotional offers may be authorized. Payment systems, phone exchange systems, and other features may also be integrated to provide detailed conversion tracking to producers of targeted content and business owners.

Devices, methods, and systems that thwart deepfake modification of media, and/or verify the identity of a person and that their communications have not been altered, among other applications. A device is configured to use sensors to record a corroborating data set (CDS) pertaining to the user in near real time. The CDS is encrypted or signed by a user's private key to create a cryptographic verification code (CVC). The CVC may be displayed, emitted, or otherwise distributed by the totem device. Alternatively, the CVC may be superimposed or embedded as metadata in media produced by the device. The CVC cannot be modified with deepfake techniques while image and video data may be modified with deepfake techniques. Analysis of media containing a CVC can confirm whether the CVC is authentic, and whether the CDS contained within is consistent with the depiction of the user in the media.

An intelligent monitoring device including a processor and an accelerometer and/or a device that includes at least one processor and at least one image sensor. The intelligent monitoring device is configured to observe at least one machine. The intelligent monitoring device is further configured to utilize its processor, or the processor of a coupled system, to recognize actions carried out on or by the at least one machine and infer the state of the machine. The intelligent monitoring device or the coupled system is further configured to provide alerts or help respond to queries about the status of the at least one machine. For example, the intelligent monitoring camera will infer the state of a washing machine based on its observations and provide an alert (optionally only to the user recognized to have loaded the washer) when the washing machine is ready to be unloaded.

An infant development device or toy including a body configured to be held by an adult, and a directional input manipulated by an infant. The device or toy performs various functions in response to different directional input provided by the infant. For example, the toy may provide audio output corresponding with the directional input and/or visual output on a display device corresponding with the directional input. The toy may also include one or more additional input devices designed to be manipulated by the adult to provide positive reinforcement or corrective prompts to the infant. To use the toy, the adult carries the infant while holding the toy in one hand. The adult then walks the infant in the direction (forward, backward, turn right, turn left, etc.) indicated by the toy in response to the infant's manipulation of the directional input device. Other variations and uses for the device are contemplated.
