Abstract:
A joint protecting brace includes a cuff member. The cuff member includes a pair of upper lateral and lower lateral tightening portions positioned on opposed sides of a cuff longitudinal axis. The cuff member further includes a liner disposed between and coupled to the upper lateral tightening portions and lower lateral tightening portions and extending along the cuff longitudinal axis. The cuff member further includes a connector coupled to a latitudinal strap. The cuff member further includes a first adjuster coupled to the upper lateral tightening portions and the connector. The cuff member further includes a second adjuster coupled to the lower lateral tightening portions and the connector. The first and second adjusters are disposed in tension for adjusting a distance between the upper and lower lateral tightening portions respectively. The first and second adjusters are communicable via the connector.
Abstract:
A support for suspending a plurality of paint brushes in a solvent filled bucket. The support includes a pair of inverted, U-shaped members attached at their midpoints in a crossing relationship. Suspended from the top of each of the members is one or more hooks for holding a paint brush by its handle above the bottom of the bucket. Special carriers may also be suspended from the hooks for holding paint rollers in the bucket as well.
Abstract:
Provided is a brace including upper and lower frame members and upper and lower cuff members. An upper adjuster is coupled to the upper frame member and upper cuff member and is configured to enable selective adjustment of the distance between the upper frame member and the upper cuff member. An upper connector is coupled to the upper frame member and the upper cuff member and is configured to enable selective engagement between the upper frame member and the upper cuff member. A lower adjuster is coupled to the lower frame member and the lower cuff member and is configured to enable selective adjustment of the distance between the lower frame member and the lower cuff member. A lower connector is coupled to the lower frame member and the lower cuff member and is configured to enable selective engagement between the lower frame member and the lower cuff member.

Abstract:
The invention provides a device for protecting ligaments in a knee joint of a user. The device includes a knee brace positionable about a knee joint of a user and a boot wearable on a foot of a user. Additionally, the device includes a flexible tether member including a first coupling element coupled to the knee brace and a second coupling element coupled to the boot. The boot and knee brace are attachable and detachable via the first and second coupling elements. The flexible tether member is adjustable in length to dispose the flexible tether member in tension at least in a portion of a maximum foot range of rotation, where the maximum foot range of rotation of the user's foot relative to the knee joint causes hyperextension of a knee ligament.
Abstract:
There is provided a brace for stabilizing a uniting pivoting joint disposed between first and second limb structures of a living being. The brace comprises upper and lower frame members, each encompassing the first and second limb structures respectively, and a pivoting joint member comprised of two opposing pivoting assemblies. The assemblies include a limb extension slot having an adjustable length. The slot is located on at least one of the upper or lower frame members. The assemblies also include an exteriorly accessible limb extension regulator for regulating the limb extension slot length. The limb extension regulator is coupled to the limb extension slot. The pivoting assembly further includes an arm member comprised of upper and lower ends, each being pivotally connected to the upper and lower frame members, respectively. The arm member further includes a regulation portion retained in the limb extension slot.
