Abstract:
A user interface for use with an HVAC system, a method of providing service reminders on a single screen of a user interface of an HVAC system and an HVAC system incorporating the user interface or the method. The user interface includes a display configured to provide information to a user, a touchpad configured to accept input from the user, and a processor and memory coupled to the display and the touchpad and configured to drive the display, wherein the display further configured to provide a button that allows a user to adjust an attribute of text displayed on the display.
Abstract:
A composition and an associated method for chemical mechanical planarization (or other polishing) are described. The composition includes a stabilizer-metal-vinyl pyridine polymer surface-modified colloidal abrasive (e.g., silica) and an oxidizing agent (e.g., hydrogen peroxide), where the metal is a Fenton's reaction metal. The method includes applying the composition to a substrate to be polished (e.g., chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP)), such as substrates containing tungsten or copper and dielectrics layers that being subjected to tungsten or copper CMP for planarization.
Abstract:
A robust intuitive latching mechanism for securing an access panel to a chassis of an electronic device comprises a hook engagement member for engaging a hook coupled to the chassis to secure the access panel to the chassis. A spring member couples the hook engagement member to the access panel. The spring member is capable of flexing between a first position wherein the hook engagement member is engaged with the hook and a second position wherein the hook engagement member is disengaged from the hook. A handle assembly is mounted to at least one of the hook engagement member and the spring member for flexing the spring member. The handle assembly is actuated for flexing the spring member from the first position to the second position for disengaging the hook engagement member from the hook to allow the access panel to be removed from the chassis.
Abstract:
A low solids-content slurry for polishing (e.g., chemical mechanical planarization) of substrates comprising a dielectric and an associated method using the slurry are described. The slurry and associated method afford high removal rates of dielectric during polishing even though the slurry has low solids-content. The slurry comprises a bicarbonate salt, which acts as a catalyst for increasing removal rates of dielectric films during polishing of these substrates.
Abstract:
An information handling system case is disclosed which has a chassis suitable for containing an electronic component, an access door removably mounted to the chassis, the access door suitable for permitting access to an electronic component contained in the computer chassis, and a release mechanism adjacent to the access door, wherein the release mechanism is manually operable by a single hand of a user to release the access door from the chassis, the access door separating from the chassis upon manipulation of the release mechanism by the user. The quick release mechanism is preferably a squeezable handle. EMI shielding is accomplished through EMI clips.
Abstract:
An HVAC system and a method of communicating with an HVAC system. In one embodiment, the HVAC system includes: (1) a user interface having a touchpad configured to accept input from a user and a display configured to provide information to the user via a plurality of screens arranged in a screen structure, (2) an application executable on a general-purpose computer and configured to cause the general-purpose computer to display substantially similar counterparts of the screens arranged in the screen structure and (3) a receiver configured to communicate with the general-purpose computer.
Abstract:
A user interface for use with an HVAC system, a method of controlling an HVAC system and an HVAC system incorporating the user interface or the method. In one embodiment, the user interface includes: (1) a display configured to provide information to a user, (2) a touchpad configured to accept input from the user and (3) a processor and memory coupled to the display and the touchpad and configured to drive the display and process the input, the display further configured to display a most-often displayed screen including a one-touch away button and place the HVAC system into an energy-saving operating mode based on a single press of the one-touch away button.
Abstract:

Abstract:
Various embodiments provide an HVAC system that includes first and second controllers. The first controller is configured to control a first demand unit to maintain a setpoint temperature of a first portion of a conditioned space. A second HVAC controller is configured to control a second demand unit to maintain a setpoint temperature of a second portion of the conditioned space. The control provided by the second controller is dependent on a load metric of the first demand unit.
