摘要： A resistance-applying garment includes an elastic line arranged in a zigzag pattern and a plurality of connectors connecting side-by-side pairs of portions of the line so as to form an assembled tubular mesh netting structure having an endless sidewall and open opposite ends in which none of the portions of the line cross over one another and the connectors are disposed about the exterior of the endless sidewall. Each connector has a body with a pair of passageways defined therethrough between opposite outer end portions and an inner middle portion of the body and extending between front and rear faces thereof and spaced from top and opposite outer sides thereof. Line portions are received and removably retained in the passageways. Top side and opposite outer sides of the body define a U-shaped outer surface arcuate-shaped and extending to and between the front and rear faces.

摘要： A compression bandage with a tubular, flexible flat material for surrounding a bodily member and with a number of elastic compression threads, whereby this flat material constitutes a main body that can be stretched in the circumferential direction. A number of elastic compression threads run in the plane of the flat material in the direction of the circumference, and create the compressive effect when the compression bandage is applied. At least parts of at least some of the compression threads protrude outside the flat material, allowing the compressive effect to be adjusted by varying the length of each of the protruding external portions.

摘要： Flexible, form fitting, uniquely shaped, body part bandages incorporate flexible carbon fiber blood flow stimulation planar emitters to provide therapeutic blood flow stimulation. Emitters are electrically powered and radiate pulsed electro magnetic energy at an ideal wavelength--typically in the 0.8 micron to 15 micron range--and frequency--typically in the 0.5 Mhz to 5 MHz range or 20 Hz to 200 Hz range--to stimulate circulation in sub dermal tissue. The carbon fiber emitters provide the means to maximize and control surface coverage and through their planar design also provide very uniform energy emissions over the entire applied surface area. Blood flow stimulation therapy body bandages are uniquely fashioned and shaped to form fit each body part and constructed such that they can then be incorporated in flexible and elastic materials such as neoprene and may include VELCRO hook and loop fasteners, buttons, straps, laces and the like.

摘要： A knee pad assembly for relieving the symptoms of patellar tendinitis, including a pad adapted for being positioned against and molded onto a lower leg in the region of the knee for lying in closely-conforming relation against and applying radially-directed pressure to the attachment site of the patellar tendon to the patella, to the knee joint, and to at least one epicondyle of the tibia. The pad is hardened into a rigid structure for therapeutic use and includes an initially flexible inner substrate impregnated or coated with a reactive system. The system remains stable when maintained in substantially moisture-free conditions and hardens upon exposure to moisture to form a rigid, self-supporting structure having a shape conforming to the lower leg to which the pad is molded during curing. A flexible cover encloses the substrate, and cooperates with the pad for maintaining the pad in its closely-conforming position against the lower leg.
