摘要： A package delivery notification system and method notifies package recipients of a package's arrival. The method-enabling system comprises a package, a package recipient, a package carrier, first and second wireless communications devices, and a recipient setting. The package carrier brings the package and the first wireless communications device to within a delivery distance relative to the recipient setting. The first wireless communications device and the delivery distance enable data transmission to the second wireless communications device located at the recipient setting. The package carrier transmits a package-delivery message to the second communications device, which device receives and displays the package-delivery message for notifying the package recipient of the package's arrival.

摘要： An apparatus secures ventilation cloth to a screen frame. A screen frame is oriented in an approximately vertical position. The screen frame has a plurality of segments. Each segment has a mounting surface on a face thereof. At least one of said segments has adhesive on the mounting surface thereof. A ventilation cloth is hung across the mounting surface of said one segment. The adhesive in said one of the segments is melted. The ventilation cloth is inserted in the adhesive across a length of said one of the segments.

摘要： The present invention at directed to systems and methods for monitoring a conveyor having a plurality of rollers spaced along the conveyer for supporting a conveyer belt. The system includes a plurality of roller monitors and a remote monitor. The roller monitors are located at the rollers, each of the roller monitors having sensors for measuring physical parameters of the rollers and generating measurement data indicative of the current values of the physical parameters, a roller processor connected to the sensors, the roller processor operable to receive the measurement data from the sensors, a roller data storage device connected to the roller processor operable to store the measurement data, a roller communication device connected to the roller processor operable to transmit the measurement data to a remote monitor. The remote monitor is operable to receive the measurement data to generate maintenance information for each of the rollers based on the measurement data.

摘要： An ice skate strip-blade holder that provides a means to remove, replace, tension, and maintain tension in a strip-blade fastened and tensioned on the holder. In a preferred embodiment, the strip-blade holder assembly includes a front segment fixed to the skate plastic superstructure; a latched, pivoting rear segment arranged to apply and maintain tension in the strip-blade. In a preferred embodiment, the pivot and latch are positioned such that the pivot carries the majority of the tensile load maintained in the strip-blade and the latch carries a minor component of this tensile load. This arrangement provides for easy latch release. The latch provides release of the rear segment for subsequent pivoting and unhooking of the strip-blade for replacement.
