    摘要: A method and apparatus for inspecting a surface of an object. Data from measuring the surface of the object is obtained to form surface data for the object. A range of frequencies for features on the object is selected based on a range of distances between adjacent peaks for the features. The features are formed by a tool moving along a number of paths. Desired surface data for the features is obtained from the surface data using the range of frequencies selected. A determination is made as to whether the desired surface data for the features meets a policy specifying a desired surface for the object. In response to an absence of a determination that the desired surface data for the features meets the policy, the object is reworked.

    摘要: A spray nozzle assembly is provided. The spray nozzle assembly includes a nozzle body having a liquid passage that terminates in a nozzle body orifice. The spray nozzle assembly includes an impingement element having an impingement surface spaced from the nozzle body orifice. One or more air outlet orifices are disposed upstream of the impingement surface and oriented to discharge a substantially tubular curtain of air around the nozzle body orifice. An air cap defines a chamber extending around and downstream of the impingement surface. The air cap has a plurality of discharge orifices. At least one of the discharge orifices in the air cap has an associated nipple that is integrally connected to the air cap and extends the discharge orifice outwardly away from an outer face of the air cap.

    摘要: An internal mix spray nozzle assembly adapted for operation with lesser pressurized air requirements. The spray nozzle assembly includes a liquid passage for directing a liquid flow stream against an impingement pin, and an air guide is provided for forming an annular pressurized air passage about the liquid flow stream for striking and atomizing a laterally spreading dispersion of liquid from the impingement surface. For enhancing liquid atomization, the air guide defines a relatively narrow width air flow opening for substantially accelerating and increasing the pressure of the atomizing air stream, and the impingement pin is formed with a relatively large primary impinging surface and a parallel downstream secondary impingement surface that facilitates further liquid particle breakdown and prevents the accumulation of liquids about the bottom of the impingement pin.

    摘要: A baby or infant pacifier is disclosed with a sound activated locator annunciator. Comprised of a nipple and associated components utilized on conventional pacifiers, the disclosed apparatus also utilizes a microphone and associated electronic circuitry to monitor for distinctive sound waveforms, such as the clapping of hands, that would normally be minimally found in an infant's or baby's immediate environment. When such a distinctive waveform is detected by the use of fuzzy logic, a speaker emits an audible locator signal, such as a musical tune or sound, for a predetermined time period to allow for location of the apparatus. It is intended that this audible locator signal will aid the care provider of the infant or baby in locating the pacifier when lost.

    摘要: A modular automatic spray gun manifold is provided. The manifold includes a plurality of spray gun modules arranged in an array in laterally spaced relation from each other. A junction element is arranged at an upstream end of the manifold for introducing fluid into the manifold. A first support assembly is arranged between the junction element and a first spray gun module in the spray gun module array for supporting the first spray gun module relative to the junction element. The first support assembly includes a plurality of fluid conduits for supplying fluid to the first spray gun module. One or more second support assemblies with one second support assembly are arranged between each adjacent pair of spray gun modules in the array of spray gun modules for supporting the adjacent pair of spray gun modules relative to each other. Each second support assembly includes a plurality of fluid conduits for communicating fluid between the adjacent spray gun modules such that fluid introduced into the manifold through the junction element is communicated to each spray gun module. The first support assembly and each second support assembly include an interior space through which their respective plurality of fluid conduits extend and a heat transfer fluid inlet for communicating a hot heat transfer fluid into the interior space of the respective support assembly.

A hand knob tightens the head against the handle in a first operating position perpendicular to the handle, and the hand knob is loosened to position the head in a second storage position parallel to the handle.
