The power supply includes a circuit board containing conductors for interconnecting electrical components of the power supply and a thermally-conductive case having an integral electrically insulating layer. The thermally-conductive case forms a reservoir to receive the circuit board therein. The power supply further includes a power semiconductor device having a body connected in thermal communication with the thermally-conductive case and terminals coupled to the conductors of the circuit board. The power supply still further includes an encapsulant, located within the reservoir, capable of ensconcing the power semiconductor device and the electrical components. Additionally, electrical leads extend from the power supply that allow the power supply to be coupled to a printed wiring board.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for managing buffer allocations in a multiple processor computer system. A cache invalidate command is issued in response to a buffer allocation from a remote processor, wherein the cache lines present in the buffer allocation must be invalidated by the remote processor before data can be stored therein. The remote invalidate command specifies multiple cache lines to support invalidation of the specified multiple cache lines in a single communication. Following confirmation of invalidation of the cache lines, the processing to which the buffer has been allocated can write data to the invalidated cache lines.

    摘要: The present invention provides for use with a circuit board having an aperture formed therein for receiving an electrical component therethrough, an electrical component assembling device. The electrical component device, in a preferred embodiment, includes a body member configured to receive the electrical component and at least partially extend through the aperture. A first clip is coupled to the body member and includes a first pressure bearing member for exerting a force against the circuit board to thereby secure the body member to the circuit board. The device further includes a second clip coupled to the body member. The second clip also includes a second pressure bearing member for exerting a force against the electrical component to thereby secure the electrical component to the body member. Thus, the first and second clips act in concert to hold the electrical component and the body member secure with respect to the circuit board.

    摘要: A solid fuel combustion assembly for use with pellet fuel and having a hopper; an auger within an auger tube for receiving fuel from the hopper and conveying it to a burnpot; a burnpot having a tubular fuel conduit fed by the auger at one end and terminating in a top opening to define a primary combustion chamber at the other; and a dome, with or without a top opening, mounted over and about the fuel conduit to define a secondary combustion chamber. A jacket surrounding the auger tube and the fuel conduit defines an air chamber having an opening to atmosphere, adjacent the auger. A plurality of peripherally spaced apertures opening into the fuel conduit from the air chamber, adjacent the top opening of the fuel conduit, provides a primary air source for the primary combustion chamber and a plurality of like apertures, opening through the jacket and under the dome provide a secondary air source of the secondary combustion chamber. A reactor plate mounted over the dome, when the dome is provided with a top opening, assists in secondary combustion.
