摘要： Methods of providing information using an interactive information device (2) are provided. A first method comprises displaying on a display (3) of an interactive information device (2) information selected from information for display stored in a memory of or accessible to the interactive information device (2), establishing a communications connection between the interactive information device (2) and a mobile communications device (20), and transmitting data to the interactive information device (2) from the mobile communications device (20) and/or from the interactive information device (2) to the mobile communications device (20). A further method comprises a tag device detecting the presence of a mobile communications device (20), transmitting data stored in the tag device to the mobile communications device (20) or an information device (2) in response to the detection, preferably transmitting at least some of the data, received from the tag device, from the mobile communications device (20) to an information device (2), and displaying on a display (3) of the information device (2) information relating to the transmitted data received from the mobile communications device (20). One or more systems and/or means for carrying out the methods are provided.

摘要： Offers for goods or services are targeted more efficiently to potential consumers by using a loyalty graph having nodes that correspond to users and edges that correspond to relationships between the users. The offers are transmitted to only superusers, corresponding to supernodes in the loyalty graph. By targeting only the superusers, the number of invitations transmitted as part of the promotion is reduced. The superusers are determined by calculating a weighted score for each node. Each weighted score corresponds to a number of directed connections between a node and its leaf nodes, with the supernodes determined as the subset of nodes having a weighted sum above a pre-determined threshold. After identifying superusers, subgraphs can be generated corresponding to each superuser. The subgraphs can be selected according to different criteria. In this way, promotions can be targeted to superusers in only selected subgraphs or to all the users in selected subgraphs.

Preferably the selected information comprises an application, program or other means for activating one or more functions or applications of the mobile device (8) and/or comprises information, content or data or the like and furthermore preferably is customised for the mobile device (8) and/or based on information regarding the device (8) such as its location, etc. Preferably the selected information is provided to the mobile device (8) in response to a successful authentication, preferably via a short range, wireless communications interaction. The authentication process preferably comprises a payment transaction, such as the mobile device (8) being authorised to access a system (1), such as a metro system (1) in one example, in response to payment for access to the system (10) via the mobile device (8).

Preferably the application is adapted, configured or otherwise enhanced, for example one or more skins, themes or the like is preferably applied to the application.
