Abstract:
A visualization system for monitoring performance data of an electrical power distribution network is provided. In one embodiment, a user may select a network circuit and view a network circuit diagram that includes indicia representing transformers and other electrical power distribution network elements positioned on a map. The relative positions of the indicia on the network circuit diagram may correspond to the relative physical locations of the transformers in the geographical area represented by the map. The indicia may be color coded to convey performance data to the user.
Abstract:
Liquid filter arrangements are provided. In general, the liquid filter arrangements comprise a housing, a primary filter element, a secondary filter construction and a bypass valve arrangement. The components are arranged such that in normal operation, liquid flows through the primary filter element and then through the secondary filter construction; and, such that during bypass valve operation, flow circumvents the primary filter element and is directed through the secondary filter construction, before leaving the liquid filter arrangement. Both a disposable spin on embodiment and a serviceable cartridge embodiment are provided.
Abstract:
A system, method and computer program product for providing demand response in a power grid is provided. In one embodiment, the computer system may include a first module configured to store user profile data for a plurality of users in memory and wherein user profile data includes load shed participation data for at least some of the plurality of users, information identifying one or more load control devices associated with each of the plurality of users, and location data of a premises associated with the user. The system may include a second module configured to select a multitude of the users based, at least in part, on the load shed participation data of the profile data, a third module configured to transmit a first control message to a load control device of the selected users, wherein the control message comprises a request to reduce a load.
Abstract:
A peripheral video conferencing system is housed in a peripheral housing and adapted for communication with an analog or digital communication channel and a separate host computer system. Audio, video, and data file information is transmitted to and received from a remote conferencing site over the communication channel. A plurality of audio, video, and communication channel connectors provide means for acquiring source audio and video signals, and respectively displaying on a separate monitor and broadcasting over an internal or separate external speaker remote video images and audio. A high-speed output interface provides connectivity with the separate host computer system for coordinating, in cooperation with video conferencing application software operating thereon, the presentation of local and remote NTSC or PAL video images on a display coupled to the computer system.
