摘要: An oxygen generator has a composition for generating oxygen and an acidic compound and/or a basic compound. The composition for generating oxygen includes an oxygen source, an ionic liquid, a metal oxide compound and/or a metal salt, and optionally a basic compound. The oxygen source is a peroxide compound, the ionic liquid is in the liquid state at least in a temperature range from −10° C. to +50° C., the metal oxide compound is an oxide of a single metal or of two or more different metals selected from the metals of groups 2 to 14 of the periodic table of the elements. The metal salt has a single metal or two or more different metals, and an organic and/or an inorganic anion. There is also described a method for controlling the oxygen production rate of the oxygen generator, and a device for generating oxygen in a controlled manner.

摘要: A method for operating a cooling unit on board an aircraft includes operating the cooling unit in a cooling mode and in a thawing mode. In the thawing mode, any thawed water in the cooling unit is drained off from a thawing element with the aid of gravitational force, and the thawing mode is prevented during specifiable flight phases and/or flight attitudes of the aircraft. A cooling unit configuration for an aircraft includes a cooling unit to be mounted on board an aircraft. The cooling unit can be operated in a cooling mode and in a thawing mode. The cooling unit has an element that thaws in the thawing mode, from which any thawed water can be drained off with the aid of gravitational force. A control device is configured to prevent the thawing mode during specifiable flight phases and/or flight attitudes of the aircraft.

The water-containing solution contains such an amount of a salt or such an amount of a salt together with such an amount of an antifreeze or the water-containing mixture contains such an amount of an antifreeze, that the freezing point of the solution or of the mixture is lowered by at least 10° C. compared to the freezing point of the water. There is also described an oxygen generator and a method of generating oxygen.

摘要: A water supply system for an aircraft has water lines which lead to a consumer group with at least one water consumer and at least one buffer upstream of the at least one water consumer. A discharge line discharges water from a water tank into the water lines and a feed pump in the discharge line supplies water from the water tank into the water lines. Each of the water lines is a flexible hose made of plastic with an internal diameter of at least 4 mm and a length of at most 100 m, and the feed pump is configured to convey water from the water tank into the water lines at a pressure of at most 25 bar and a flow rate of at most 1.4 liters per minute.
