    摘要： This invention is directed in general to polymers (including oligomers) that contain carboxyl-terminated lactone acrylates, to a process for their preparation, and to coating, ink, adhesive, and sealant compositions (including the cured coatings, inks, adhesives, and sealants) that are obtained by crosslinking the above compositions by various means. The cured compositions, which are, for example, high-quality industrial finishes, are made by incorporation of various conventional crosslinking agents and other normally-used formulating ingredients with the polymeric compositions of the invention.

    摘要： A dead front plug is provided having an insulating housing with the general configuration of a valise. The electric cord enters the housing from the top of the valise. Strain relief is provided integral with the housing and comprises an annular channel around which the separated strands of the wire is directed. Radially extending pairs of walls in opposite sides of the valise press the two wire arcs into generally sinusoidal configuration along the length of each arc. Secure wire retention and strain relief is achieved.

    摘要： The present disclosure relates to an insulated container construction and describes more specifically an embodiment of such construction which is in the nature of a disposable hot drink cup which includes an outer member shaped generally as a frustum of a cone having an open upper end and a closed bottom end and constructed of a paper material which preferably has a thickness in the range of from about 0.305 mm. to 0.457 mm. The container construction, also, includes an inner member shaped generally as a frustum of a cone and having an open upper end and a closed bottom end and residing within the above referred to outer member. The inner member is constructed of a synthetic resin or plastic material and preferably polystyrene and preferably of a thickness in the range of from about 0.127 mm. to 0.381 mm. The open upper end of the plastic inner member is turned outwardly and back upon itself to form a lip portion which engages the lips of a user of the cup and keeps the lips of the user of the cup away from the upper edge of the paper construction of the outer member. Wall means are provided on one or both of the outer and inner members to define an insulating air space between the two members to give the container construction a high insulation value. With this particular structure the paper outer member provides the primary support structure and the plastic inner member serves the primary function of holding the liquid which is to be carried by the container. Since the liquid is carried by the plastic inner member, it is not necessary to leakproof the paper material of the outer member. The wall means which define the insulating air space form preferably a triangular-appearing shape in cross section as viewed in an axial direction of the container.

    摘要： A device for securing a workpiece to a fixture for performing machining operations includes a tubular, radially expansible mandrel. The mandrel is carried in a passage provided in the fixture and extends into a hole provided in the workpiece. An expander stem is carried within a bore of the mandrel. The stem has an upper end that is tapered for expanding the mandrel. The lower end of the stem is connected to a hydraulic piston. A spring applies an upward force on the mandrel. A hydraulic cylinder moves the stem downwardly, while the spring retains the mandrel in a stationary position until it grips the workpiece. Then, the hydraulic force overcomes the force of the spring to pull the mandrel downward slightly to secure the workpiece to the fixture.
