    摘要: A mounting apparatus for positioning a television relative to a wall and a fireplace mantel includes a mounting plate coupled to a distal end of a positioning arm and is moved and positioned according to movement of the positioning arm. The positioning arm has a linear configuration with a proximal end mounted inside an inset wall housing which is itself mounted into a wall above the mantel of a fireplace. The positioning arm is pivotally movable between a retracted configuration completely inside the wall housing and a deployed configuration outside and extending away from the wall housing. The positioning arm includes gas springs and the mounting plate includes an adjustable bracket capable of mounting televisions having large VESA patterns.

    摘要: A laser diode read driver includes a first transistor producing a first voltage in response to receiving a first current signal. A transconductor has a first input coupled to receive the first voltage and produces a second current signal in response to differences between signals received on the first input and a second input. A second transistor is coupled to the second input and produces a third current signal in response to receiving the second current signal. A third transistor is coupled to the second transistor and the second input and produces an output current signal in response to receiving the third current signal. The first transistor is scaled to the first transistor by the inverse of a gain factor. First and second resistors are coupled between the first and third transistors and a low voltage supply, and are scaled to each other by the gain factor.

    摘要: An arched door frame for use within an arched opening in a framed, wallboard clad wall comprises: two similar door frame side portions each having a lower straight portion, an upper rounded portion, and an upper connection edge portion; wherein each door frame side portion has a jamb having a width generally equal to a stud width and two thicknesses of wallboard, and a contoured casing attached to both a front and rear edge portion of the jamb; and, frame side alignment and connection maintenance means to centrally align and maintain the two frame side portions in close proximity. In a preferred aspect the frame alignment means comprises clip holes and dowels, and the connection maintenance means comprises a front and back U shaped clip having opposite ends which are received in the clip holes, one clip hole in an outer edge of each jamb side portion.

    摘要: An active damping system for reducing the ringing effects in write current signals flowing through a write head of a disk drive write circuit. The active damping system stores a voltage related to the write current, sinks write current from a terminal of the write head in response to a predetermined rate of increase in the stored voltage, and provides a high impedance to the terminal when the rate of increase of stored voltage is below the predetermined rate. The active damping system preferably includes a transistor connected between the write head terminal and a common electrical potential, a capacitor connected between the terminal and a base of the transistor, and a resistor connected between the base of the transistor and the common electrical potential.
