    摘要: Architecture that selects a classification engine based on the expertise of the engine to process a given entity (e.g., a file). Selection of an engine is based on a probability that the engine will detect an unknown entity classification using properties of the entity. One or more of the highest ranked engines are activated in order to achieve the desired performance. A statistical, performance-light module is employed to skip or select several performance-demanding processes. Methods and algorithms are utilized for learning based on matching the best classification engine(s) to detect the entity class based on the entity properties. A user selection option is provided for specifying a maximum number of ranked, classification engines to consider for each state of the machine. A user can also select the minimum probability of detection for a specific entity (e.g., unknown file). The best classifications are re-evaluated over time as the classification engines are updated.

    摘要: Radon Removal System comprised of an inline suction fan with “y” type fitting below it. The “y” type fitting is attached to a mounting flange that is positioned over a 4 inch hole in the sump cover or other depressurization port allowing the suction fan to draw air containing radon gas or other contaminants from drain tile(s) having fluid communication with the sump basin. The side inlet of “y” fitting draws exterior air from a flexible or solid PVC pipe located 3 or more feet from the discharge point. The suction fan draws exterior air into the side inlet of “y” fitting and dilutes the radon gas drawn into the lower opening of “y” fitting. The suction fan simultaneously dilutes the contaminated air with clean exterior air before being pumped out of outlet port. The expelled air is discharged into the outside atmosphere where it is further diluted to safe levels posing no health risk. With this system, it is no longer necessary to route the discharge pipe to the highest eve of the roof. The expelled air is sufficiently diluted by mixing with clean exterior air before it is discharged through the band-board opening on the side of the house. This diluted mixture is further diluted upon discharge into the exterior atmosphere posing no health risk. With the availability of this invention and its lower cost, it is hoped that more people can benefit from reduced radon levels in their home and optimally save lives.

    摘要: Pipeline inspection apparatus is provided including a camera unit and associated illumination means, preferably a strobe flash unit, for recording on photographic film the rectangular images corresponding to generally rectangular internal surface portions of a pipe for detection of defects, a viewing axis of the camera being normal to the axis of the pipe. Weight means are provided for operating in a manner such as to establish a viewing axis in predetermined angular relation to a vertical plane through the axis of a horizontal pipe. In one embodiment, the device is supported by resilient cups for movement through the pipe and the entire device is rotatable under the influence of the weight means. In another embodiment, at least the optical portion of the camera unit is rotatably supported and connected to the weight means. Magnetic flaw detection means are provided for triggering the camera unit.

    摘要: Many existing sump covers have large access slots to accommodate the location of the sump pump discharge pipe. The exposed slot can allow undesirable soil gases to enter a home.The SUMPSEALER is a retrofit device that: 1) Uses a one piece reversible attachment to cover both sides of the slot simultaneously. 2) A mating part is used to cover the area around one or more electrical cords and position the cord(s) next to the pipe. 3) Both parts are clear and serve as a “viewport” enabling visual inspection without removal of sump cover. 4) By using caulk or sealant and utilizing the SUMPSEALER device, the existing sump cover can seal out undesirable soil gases.
