摘要: The present disclosure is broadly concerned with processing equipment and methods for processing of a biomass feedstock into one or more biomass particles of reduced size, and in particular, hemp. The vertical impact liberating equipment and methods can process whole hemp stalks into hemp particulates comprising distinct fractions of hemp hurds, bast fiber, and fines. Advantageously, in preferred embodiments, the biomass feedstock is pulled through a defined gap and into a defined chamber. This action causes a successive decrease and increase of pressure within the biomass feedstock, yielding the one or more biomass particles of reduced size.

摘要: A mill includes a generally vertical, rotatable shaft having at least one set of cutter blades driven thereby and a fan assembly mounted on the shaft below the cutter blades in position to receive output therefrom. The fan assembly includes a fan disc secured to the shaft and rotatable therewith. A plurality of fan blades is secured to the fan disc in a generally radial orientation. A terminal portion of the mill includes a gradually, radially expanding outer wall configured in a volute form. The expanded outer wall decreases wear and increases efficiency of discharge and airflow through the mill.

Sections of carpet are fed into the grinder which grinds the carpet, separating the fibers from the backing and breaking the backing into relatively small particles. The grinder is connected with a series of ginning equipment for removing the ground backing from the fibers.

摘要: A system and method for monitoring and adjusting a constant flow asphalt manufacturing process includes monitoring the ratios of recycled material to virgin material to minimize costs and adjusting the mixture in real time. Pulverized asphalt shingle (PAS) material may be used as a source of recycled asphalt oil and fed to a mixing drum with real-time monitoring while making real-time adjustments to supplement the asphalt with new asphalt oil to the mixer. The systems and methods may also be used for monitoring, metering, and supplementing recycled aggregate from recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) with new aggregate. The systems and methods may use one or more processors or programmable logic controllers (PLC) to meter the addition of new materials.
