摘要： A rigid tube support having no flexing sections comprised of an elongated rectangular shape having arcuated round ended slots for restraining multiple PEX (crosslinked polyethylene) tubes used in construction for hydronics and plumbing. These slots have openings to allow the tubes to be freely inserted radially into the openings. These slots further have within each of them a single semicylindrical protrusion axially oriented with the tube trapping the tube from sliding out radially once inserted. The protrusion forces the tube to be temporarily deformed during insertion. When in final position the slots are large enough to allow the tubes to freely rotate and slide axially within the support accommodating linear thermal expansion of the tubes. These larger slots also allow for tube rotation for ease of installation. The curved opening enables the support to be used horizontally as well as vertically. The support keeps the multiple tubes spaced apart and offset from the mounting surface to allow for insulation to be later applied to the tubes. Placed perpendicular and in between each of the tube openings are apertures through which fasteners are inserted. Although there are multiple apertures only two fasteners are required.

摘要： A pipe hanger clamp, formed by bending a flat section of metal bar or plate, has two vertical side members which have been cut so their side view is a “C” shape. The lower arms of these two side members are joined by a horizontally extended end wall, about which the side members are bent. Holes in the end wall receive a mounting set screw into a captured nut and another nut to hold a pipe hanger rod for supporting a pipe. An overhead support is clamped between the set screw and the upper arms of the C-shaped side members, such that the load applied to the rod is generally edgewise to the plate thickness, and does not provide an unbending force on the clamp.

摘要： A suspension loop clamp consisting of a blind rivet nut, a metal strip, and a fastener. The blind rivet nut is inserted into the flat strip through a circular hole in the strip. The blind rivet is then plastically deformed by compression axially applied to both ends of the blind rivet nut from an unset condition to a set condition forming a radially outwardly protruding bulge, which serves to bind the blind rivet nut element to the strip. The blind rivet nut bulge and the loop clamp it is attached to are then additionally dented and thus deformed in a radial pattern so as to be zigzag in shape when viewed through a cross section. This stiffens the protruding bulge so as to restrict the blind rivet nut from reverting back to its original shape when a tensile load is applied opposite to the flange of the rivet nut. The strip of sheet metal is then formed longitudinally into a loop clamp which has bends with holes, at each end, through which a fastener is inserted to clamp the loop around a conduit.

摘要： A pipe or tube hanger consisting of a loop clamp combined with a blind rivet fastener which has the joint deformed to stiffen the blind rivet so it may be used as a tension member in the application. This will replace cast iron parts which have been typically used for this application. See FIG. 1. Because of air pollution many small cast iron foundries no longer operate in the United States. This novel methodology also eliminates weld joining of the two parts which requires post plating to restore cladding or galvanizing or post painting of the parts. Using this mechanical joint enables the use of pre-painted or galvanized material and allows fully finished parts to exit the automated fabricating process and go directly into shipping containers dramatically reducing handling and reducing the customers costs and making domestic manufacturing of the product competitively possible.
