    摘要: A method for producing a large-caliber, high-explosive projectile (1, 1′), and a projectile formed according the method, having a projectile casing (2, 2′) that surrounds a chamber (6, 6′) filled with an explosive charge (9, 9′), and that has a mouth (5, 5′) at its tip that can be sealed, and through which the explosive charge (9, 9′) is inserted into the chamber (6, 6′) of the high-explosive projectile (1, 1′). The explosive charge (9, 9′) is disposed in a plastic casing (8), comprised of an elastic material, inside the chamber of the high-explosive projectile (1, 1′). Additional tensioning means (11, 11′, 17, 17′) are provided to compensate for the varying volume of the explosive charge (9, 9′) relative to the projectile casing (2, 2′) if the temperature fluctuates dramatically and maintain the explosive charge (9, 9′) under a pre-stress, particularly when using a plastic bound explosive charge (9, 9′).

    摘要: A gas generator adapted to be disposed in a rear part of a projectile for increasing the flight range thereof, includes a housing defining a combustion chamber and having a bottom and a longitudinal axis; a fuel accommodated in the combustion chamber; an outlet opening provided in the housing bottom for passage of combustion gases generated in the combustion chamber upon combustion of the fuel; and a plastic fuel-supporting tube extending axially from the outlet opening into the combustion chamber. The plastic material of the fuel-supporting tube is selected such that upon combustion of the fuel aided by a gas pressure of a projectile propellant and by a drag effect, the fuel-supporting tube is deformed and driven out of the outlet opening.

A given number of wire turns at the front of the projectile body beginning in the vicinity of the base of the hollow charge insert remain unconnected so that a spring-like detonator spacer results which is delimited at the front by the last wire turn.

The guide band includes a plurality of axially adjoining partial guide bands. One of the partial guide bands is a first partial guide band made of copper, a copper alloy or another soft metal. One of the partial guide bands is a second partial guide band made of soft iron and axially adjoining the first partial guide band. A total axial length of all second partial guide bands is between 5% and 50% of the total axial length of the guide band.
