摘要： A hydraulic electric power generation system for roadway installation has a plurality of fluid-filled compressible pump channels positioned for compression by a vehicle to drive the fluid in a channel outwardly through outlet sides of the channels. The channels are contained in a mat adapted for positioning of a roadway surface in a manner such that the channels are compressed by the tires of vehicles travelling on the roadway. An outlet manifold collected the fluid driven out through the outlet sides of the channels and directs it to through piping to a hydraulic motor and coupled electric generator. The fluid exiting from the motor passes to a sump, from which it can be returned to a mat manifold at inlet sides of the channels. The channels are provided with one-way valves to prevent backflow.

摘要： A compact, portable tablet dispenser is particularly adapted for carrying aspirin tablets for ingestion as therapy upon the onset of a suspected heart attack. The tablets are in a blister within the dispenser, which includes actuators aligned with the tablets to eject the tablets through an aperture in the dispenser. Upon operation, the actuators provide a permanent indication that a tablet has been ejected. The dispenser may include electronic circuitry to provide reinforcement and/or guidance, for its use and may include means for alerting a third party, such as by a 911 call, of its activation.

摘要： An apparatus for measuring the amount of medication in a sealed metered dose inhaler dispenser comprises a housing in which a mounting platform is located. An aperture in the housing allows the dispenser to be placed on the platform. Displacement of the platform is correlated with the weight of the dispenser and contents. The weight is displayed as an indication of the amount of medication in the dispenser from full to empty. The platform means may rest on a compression spring, the deflection of the spring being correlated with the applied weight. Tabs associated with the platform align with indicia on the exterior of the housing to indicate the degree of dispenser fill.
