摘要： An amusement occupant-propellable exercising device that has a platform intended to be securable to the foot of the user of the device and at least one glide set attached to the platform for travel along a surface. Each glide set is composed of a crank arm unit having a central shaft attached to the platform for pivotal movement about an axis transverse to the direction of travel, a pair of oppositely directed arms spaced apart from one another along the axis with one arm extending forwardly in the direction of travel and the other extending rearwardly. A stub axle projects outwardly from respective ones of the pair of arms and a surface traversing element such as a skate blade, wheel or the like is mounted on respective ones of the stub axles. The glide sets can be arranged with one or two under the toe portion of the boot and one or two under the heel. The platform may be a plate, a boot, a ski, a skateboard or the like.

摘要： Pieces of furniture are assembled from segments of a closed hollow shell formed by severing the hollow shell along at least two planes and providing segments of different sizes. The hollow shell from which the segments are formed may be of various different sizes and/or shapes and in each case a minor segment of the hollow shell is provided and includes a lower planar edge for resting flatwise on a floor surface and an upper continuous peripheral edge spaced from such floor surface. A main body for the furniture is provided by a major segment of the hollow shell and has a curvilinear outer surface which seats freely on and in contact with the upper peripheral edge of the base. The main body of the piece of furniture accordingly may be rotated and/or readily tilted.

摘要： A wall-mountable delivery service aid is provided. It includes a mounting member. Means are provided on the mounting member visually to indicate on one side thereof required goods and/or services, such as dairy products, dry-cleaning, laundry or the like. Means are also provided in the mounting member, operable from a side opposite to that of the visual indicator, to adjust the visual indicator to indicate the goods and/or services required. Finally, a currency storage and transfer device is provided which is slidably mounted on the mounting member. This device includes a currency storage compartment movably mounted selectively to position the same for access to the compartment from one side or the other of the mounting member. By these means currency may be placed in the compartment from one side of the wall on which the apparatus is mounted and may be removed from the opposite side of the wall.
