摘要: A brake/ballast assembly for a movable structure. The brake/ballast assembly includes a movable brake/ballast plate movable between a movable brake/ballast plate first position in which the movable brake/ballast plate is positioned proximate a fixed member and a movable brake/ballast plate second position in which the movable brake/ballast plate is spaced from the fixed member. An engagement member is connected to the movable brake/ballast plate. The engagement member is movable between an engagement member first position and an engagement member second position. When the engagement member is in the engagement member first position, the movable brake/ballast plate is provided in the movable brake/ballast plate first position allowing the movable structure to be moved along a surface. When the engagement member is in the engagement member second position, the movable brake/ballast plate is provided in the movable brake/ballast plate second position preventing the movable structure from moving relative to the surface.

摘要: Implementations of a roof platform configured for use on an inclined roof are provided. In some implementations, the roof platform is adjustable so that the platform thereof can be positioned in a horizontal orientation even when mounted on a pitched (or inclined) roof. In this way, equipment (e.g., an air conditioning unit, satellite dish, solar panel(s), etc.) may be positioned on the platform and thereby the roof of a building. In some implementations, the roof platform assembly may comprise a platform that includes two leg couplings affixed to a front side thereof, four tubular legs stabilized by braces, and four pitch adjustable feet configured to be affixed to a roof. Another example implementation of the roof platform assembly may comprise a platform that includes four leg couplings, four tubular legs stabilized by pairs of adjustable braces, and four pitch adjustable feet configured to be affixed to a roof.

摘要: A platform system for self-leveling a stage is provided and includes one or more module assemblies and one or more supports. Each module assembly includes one or more receiving members for engaging and removably securing the one or more supports. Each support includes an elongate portion, an extendible portion extendible from and lockingly engageable with the elongate portion, a base member removably attached to the extendible portion, and an actuator assembly secured to the elongate portion and in communication with the extendible portion. The actuator assembly is configured to rapidly extend and lockingly engage the extendible portion and the base member to provide self-leveling of each of the one or more module assemblies of the stage as the base member engages an underlying surface.

摘要: A bracket arrangement (11) for removable attachment to the upper regions of a ladder (12) is disclosed. The bracket has a pair of laterally spaced apart arms (18) for adjustably rotatable attachment to respective sides (16) of the ladder. The arms extend generally away from the ladder towards a roof (14) of a building when the ladder is used against the side (15) of said building to gain access to the roof. The angle between the arms and the plane of the ladder is adjustable to suit varying conditions of use. The bracket has a pair of braces (23), each attached to respective sides of the ladder and adjustably rotatable about the point at which each is attached and extending from the ladder on respective sides thereof for locking each respective arm of the bracket so as to maintain each arm in predetermined angular relationship with respect to the plane of the ladder. The bracket has a cross member (19) extending at least between the free ends or free end regions of each arm for placement against the roof of the building.

摘要: A ladder support bracket (11) receives a rung of a ladder intended to be placed against the gutter (19) of a building and thus restraining it, and hence the ladder, from sideways or downwards movement. The bracket includes a first region (12) for affixing to a rigid portion of the building, a second region (13) which spans the gutter, and a third region (14) in the form of a cradle for receiving the rung of the ladder. The ladder support bracket preferably has the first region for fixing the bracket to a rigid portion of the building in the form of a relatively planar sheet like portion which may be attached by suitable fasteners, such as screws (22, 23) or the like, to the rafters (18) or other timber members of the roof support structure of the building, such as battens (21), this portion then being covered by the roofing material, whether tiles or metal roofing.

摘要: A ladder safety support for use with an existing ladder is disclosed. The support includes an attachment assembly for removable connection to the lower end of the ladder and one of two interchangeable foot assemblies for supporting the ladder on a surface. The first foot assembly provides a surface-penetrating stake having a lower tapered section and presenting a pointed tip and a threaded portion for removably attaching the stake to the assembly. The second foot assembly is similarly removable and provides a surface-engaging pad.
