摘要： A communications system for transmitting selected information to a registered mobile terminal in response to the reporting of a vehicle identification associated with the registered mobile terminal to a database system. The communications system includes a database system having a memory with registered vehicle identifications and associated information. The database system is coupled to a radio system for receiving a reporting signal including a vehicle identification sent by a reporting mobile terminal. In response to the inputted reported vehicle identification, the database system identifies a registered vehicle identification corresponding to the reported vehicle identification and selects associated information corresponding to the identified registered vehicle identification. In the first preferred embodiment, the selected associated information includes a selected phone number and the database system sends the selected message to a registered mobile terminal associated with the vehicle identification. In a second preferred embodiment, the database system sends the selected associated information to the reporting mobile terminal. The selected associated information includes a message such as a password, codeword, or voice message.

摘要： Disclosed is a manual balancing valve having an upstream end and a downstream end, and a first equalizing ring (500a) and a second equalizing ring (500b) configured at the upstream end and the downstream end, respectively. Each of the first and the second equalizing rings comprises an annular body (505) defined between an inner peripheral edge portion (510) and an outer peripheral edge portion (515), an annular chamber (520) configured adjacent to the inner peripheral edge portion, a plurality of holes (525) configured on the inner peripheral edge portion and in fluid communication with the annular chamber, and a pressure tap (T) in fluid communication with the annular chamber and extending radially outward of the annular body. The first and the second equalizing rings are adapted to provide static pressure value at each of the upstream and the downstream ends so as to measure differential pressure therebetween and control the fluid flow rate through the valve.

摘要： This invention provides a way for the user of an amplifier to select the class of operation of the output power tubes. A microprocessor monitors the bias conditions and makes the necessary adjustments to set the amplifier in the user selected class of operation. In one embodiment of this invention the user selects the class of operation via a switch. The microprocessor calculates where the plate current should be per the selected class and adjusts the grid voltage until the proper plate current is achieved.

摘要： The invention relates to a system and information processing device for user selectably presenting information. It comprises a display screen (101) having various areas or zones for facilitating the exploration of the information. A flow zone (102) shows links or pointers (103) to various information units or content, which links continuously flow in a certain direction. The user is allowed to control the flow speed and flow direction and select any link so as to view a full presentation (108) of the related content in a presentation zone (106). The flow zone may be controlled to include only links to selected content in dependence on a user selectable filter agent (105). Personal links may be stored into and loaded from a physical token, using a token detector (113) and token area (110) displaying the personal links. The token can be used to carry personal links between information processing devices of the system according to the invention.

摘要： The sulfur trioxide, sulfuric acid vapor and sulfuric acid mist content of the effluent gas stream from a contact process sulfuric acid absorber are substantially decreased by pre-treating the gas stream prior to its passage through a conventional mist eliminator. The treatment steps include cooling the absorber effluent to below 100.degree.F and contacting same with aqueous sulfuric acid in a particular concentration range and thereafter maintaining the gas phase in the mist eliminator saturated with respect to H.sub.2 SO.sub.4 vapor.
