摘要： A three piece tool for reassembly and disassembly of poppet valve spring assemblies which are set inside bores in engines. The tool includes a tubular part that closely fits the engine bore, slides down and around the spring assembly, and contacts the top of a washer of the spring assembly. Compression, using a C-clamp or like tool, forces the tubular member, and the washer, downward and allows the keepers to be removed from the valve stem. Release of the compression allows the spring assembly to be disassembled. Reassembly is accomplished using the tubular member with a liner and a plunger. With the keepers, springs and washer positioned, the tubular part, with a liner and plunger, is inserted into the bore and the tubular member pushed downward to compress the springs. The plunger serves to move the keepers into their operational position so that release of the force on the tube relocks the spring assembly into its operational position.

摘要： An alignment gauge assembly for a vehicle wheel having a spindle with a threaded outer end in which an adapter is mounted on the end of the threaded portion of the spindle and includes a shank in axial alignment with the spindle and a head on the shank having an outwardly facing surface at right angles to the axis of the shank and a center hole therein, the threaded end of the shank replacing the standard nut and washer on the end of the spindle. The head, and preferably the shank, are made of ferrous metal or other magnetic attractable material for mounting a caster and camber gauge thereon, using a permanent magnet in the gauge for attachment to the outwardly facing surface and a center pin for seating in the center hole. When mounted on the adapter, the gauge is in axial alignment with the wheel spindle and contains scales for determining the caster and camber of the wheel.

摘要： An adapter for bleeding brake lines in which the adapter is used to connect the pressure bleeder directly to the brake line, thereby by-passing the master cylinder during the bleeding procedure. The brake line is held in a slot in the adapter body, and a threaded element is tightened against the end of the brake line. The pressure bleeder is connected to the element, and the brake fluid from the bleeder passes through the element and into the brake line. Flare fittings minimize leakage, and the element has a tapered end which will seat in the flared end of most conventional size brake lines.
