Abstract:
A programming device for a network of control nodes includes a recording module for determining the control nodes connected to the network and a system object module connected to the recording module. The system object module includes a system object model representing the control-node configuration of the network, the system object module being configured to define the communication relations between the determined control nodes on the basis of the system object model. The programming device further includes a configuration output module connected to the system object module for transmitting the communication relations between the control nodes in the network to the control nodes, the communication relations being determined by the system object module.
Abstract:
A machine tool for cutting workpieces, the machine tool having a tool slide shiftable on or along a machine tool table as support of a machining unit. The machining unit has at least one work spindle and a workpiece support for receiving the workpieces to be machined. For enabling fast machining including an accurate and rapid positioning of the machining unit with as few linear guidances as possible, the tool slide has a transverse support shiftably guided on or along the machine tool table and also has two cross slides shiftable in its longitudinal direction. The machining unit is jointedly arranged between the cross slides via a coupling mechanism having at least two dimensionally stable swivel arms for axially moving the work spindle.

Abstract:
A real-time run-time system comprises a plurality of functional modules and an administration module. The plurality of functional modules is configured to log on to the administration module using an assigned module identification during a transitional state between initialization and pre-operation and to log off during a transitional state between pre-operation and initialization. At least one of the plurality of functional modules is configured to establish communication connections with further functional modules via the administration module during the transitional state between pre-operation and trial operation, to break down the communication connections during the transitional state between trial operation and pre-operation, to log on to the further functional modules during the transitional state between trial operation and real-time operation and to log off during the transitional state between real-time operation and trial operation.
Abstract:
A relatively compact, program-controlled, universal combined milling and boring machine having a horizontal base as a support for a work table, a machine frame and a supporting system for at least one spindle head. The spindle head contains a dimensionally stable central tube, a spindle head support mounted on the lower end thereof, three telescopic bars arranged at a solid angle displacement of about 120° and coupled to the spindle head support in universal bearings, and an upper support member having universal bearings for the central tube and for each telescopic bar. The machine frame is preferably provided together with the base as an integrated, dimensionally stable, support structure and has two side walls, a top, front traverse and a lower rear wall. The supporting member of the supporting system is inclined between the top side of rear wall and the traverse.
Abstract:
A machine tool for metal cutting having a collecting system for chips and liquids. Disposed below the work area is a pan having a transverse groove, a chip conveyor disposed in the transverse groove, a spiral-shaped conveyor element, a liquid collector on one side wall of the pan and a chip outlet disposed on the other side wall of the pan on the outlet end of the chip conveyor. To enhance the separation of liquids even when a large amount of chips is produced, an elongated screen element is disposed in the inner cavity of the spiral-shaped conveyor element, the screen element extending over at least part of the length of the conveyor element and terminating at the liquid collector.
Abstract:
A universal combined milling and boring machine having a machine column, a compound slide that can traverse horizontally on the machine column, a spindle head mounted on the compound slide so that it can traverse vertically, with a work spindle, a rotary table mounted so it can pivot over a supporting console on the machine column and a control unit. Multiaxial machining with relatively inexpensive control technology and a control system with optimum visual contact with the machining site are made possible according to this invention due to the fact that the supporting console is mounted on the machine column so it can rotate about a horizontal swivel axis. The swivel axis is offset laterally relative to the central axis of the combined milling and boring machine; the rotary table is mounted centrally on the console so it can rotate about an axis of rotation normal to the swivel axis; and the control unit includes a portable control console.
Abstract:
A program-controlled machine tool with automated tool changing, where the machine tool consists of a motor-driven machining unit with a working spindle that can be moved in at least one coordinate. The machine tool also includes a work table that can be driven by a motor in at least one coordinate, at least one tool magazine, and a programmable control unit. In order to be able to carry out tool changing operations without any auxiliary equipment, especially without a tool changer, within a short period of time, the tool magazine is mounted in a certain spatial arrangement with the working area of the machining unit so that its changing position can be approached directly by the working spindle in order to carry out the tool changing operation.
Abstract:
A tool changing assembly for program controlled milling and drilling machines comprising a vertically movable knee-type unit for the work table, and a vertical milling head. The tool changing assembly includes a power-driven pivotable mounting which is arranged in the form of a bracket for pivoting movement about a vertical axis on a column mounted on the knee-type unit laterally spaced from the work spindle of the milling head. The free end of the bracket has gripping pliers mounted thereon for pivoting movement about a likewise vertical axis, the pivoting movement of the gripping pliers being opposite to the pivoting movement of the bracket and being derived therefrom.
