The present invention relates to a power factor compensation device for a motor driving inverter which can improve a power factor of a voltage and a current inputted to the inverter driving a motor. The present invention detects a zero crossing point of an utility alternating current power, and outputs a driving signal corresponding to a plurality of sine wave form voltage values stored in a memory according to a detection result, when the zero crossing point of the utility alternating current power is detected in a state where the plurality of sine wave form voltage values corresponding to a voltage of the utility alternating current power and frequencies are stored in the memory. A switching transistor is switched according to the driving signal, and the voltage applied to the inverter is switched according to the switching operation, thereby improving the power factor.

An apparatus and method for remotely controlling household appliances connected to a home network. A power line and a network processor is installed in each household appliance, enabling a household appliance user to remotely control the appliances from a place outside of as well as inside a home. Information about all conditions of the household appliances can be displayed on a screen displayable household appliance so that the user can recognize the operations of the appliances even during spare moments. A low-price built-in server is installed in each household appliance to assign the corresponding appliance a unique IP address simply over the Internet to be controlled according to an external user control command. A home server is connected to each of the household appliances such that the corresponding appliance receives a control command, sent in transit by a user from a mobile terminal.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a network roller shutter system which can provide multi functions. The network roller shutter system has a constant current power supply (2) and one or a series of roller shutter controllers (3). The roller shutter controller includes a battery (33), the battery power is available in case of commercial AC power failure when emergency situations. The constant current power supply provides DC power to the batteries of all roller shutter controllers. The emergency switch (100) is connected between signal line and earth of power line to shut down all stutters simultaneously in emergency situations. The modem (35) is transmitting signals to all the roller shutter controllers. The microprocessor (31) monitors the voltage level of the constant current power supply and the battery (33) level. If the battery voltage level is lower than the minimum set limitation and other roller shutter controllers are not charging, the microprocessor turns on the switch (34) and then starts charging the battery (33).
