    摘要： An automatic scum removal trough to remove floating material from a clarifying tank of a sanitary disposal system. A skimmer activates a limit switch to energize a motor to tilt the trough toward a pickup position. An electrode, mounted on the trough engages liquid in the tank to de-energize the motor to stop the trough at the selected level. When the skimmer has completed a cycle through the tank and started back to original position another limit switch is actuated to energize the motor for reverse rotation to return the trough to an upright position. The skimmer is lifted out of the liquid upon reverse movement to prevent movement of scum back toward the opposite end of the tank from the trough.

    摘要： An automatic window washer has a module riding in tracks on the face of the building and is controlled from a unit mounted on the roof of the building. As the module moves down the face of the building the presence of areas to be washed is automatically sensed and the washing operations then automatically begun and terminated by equipment in the module. The module or modules may be mounted in a span frame for lateral movement therein for washing more than one vertical column of windows when the tracks on the face of the building are spaced apart by a plurality of columns of windows. The washing equipment in the module may take various forms for washing windows of curtain front buildings and for washing recessed windows.

    摘要： An improved track system for movable apparatus for handling materials such as conveyor apparatus for distributing concrete mix and the like, comprises a plurality of track sections pivotally linked together, with each section comprising a tubular upper member mounted by means of struts on two parallel tubular lower members. The lower members are curved inwardly at one end and are beveled inwardly at the other end, so that two joined sections will mate and will form a substantially continuous outer surface even when the two sections are arranged obliquely. A carriage for the track comprises at least one inverted V-shaped member riding along the track on a load caster mounted at the apex of the member. Guide casters mounted at the ends of the legs of the member ride along the lower tubular members and provide lateral stability for the apparatus mounted on the carriage.
