    Abstract: In some examples, a co-rotating scroll compressor includes a driver scroll having an axis aligned with the main axis and having a spiral involute, an idler scroll having an axis offset from the main axis and having a spiral involute intermeshed with the spiral involute of the driver scroll, and an Oldham coupling disposed between the driver scroll and idler scroll.
    The driver scroll may offset key slots so to engage with corresponding Oldham coupling keys. In another example, the Oldham coupling may offset driver scroll keys so to engage with corresponding key slots of the driver scroll.

    Abstract: Provided is, e.g., a compressor with a high reliability. A compressor (100) includes a hermetic container (1) sealed with lubricant oil, an electric motor (6) placed inside the hermetic container (1) and having a stator (6a) and a rotor (6b), a crankshaft (3) configured to rotate integrally with the rotor (6b), a compression mechanism (2) configured to compress refrigerant in association with rotation of the crankshaft (3), a discharge pipe (Pb) configured to guide the refrigerant compressed in the compression mechanism (2) to the outside of the hermetic container (1), and a tubular oil ring (15) provided between the compression mechanism (2) and the electric motor (6). A cutout (s1) is, at a lower portion of the oil ring (15), provided as a first insertion portion into which the discharge pipe (Pb) is inserted.

    Abstract: A distributor distributing refrigerant to multiple pipes including a tubular member including, at a side surface thereof, multiple insertion ports into which the multiple pipes are inserted and a supply port through which the refrigerant is supplied, a first closing member and a second closing member configured to close the tubular member at two spots positioned along a longitudinal direction of the tubular member, and a partition member extending from the first closing member to the second closing member and configured to divide an internal space of the tubular member into a space on an insertion port side and a space on a supply port side. The partition member includes two protruding portions contacting tip ends of the multiple pipes, and includes a refrigerant flow path between the two protruding portions on a first closing member side of one of the insertion ports closest to the first closing member.

    Abstract: A refrigeration cycle, an air conditioning system, and a method for controlling a refrigeration cycle are provided. The refrigeration cycle includes an outdoor unit, an indoor unit, a controller, and an inverter. The controller controls a compressor and an outdoor fan of the air conditioning system so as to minimize a total electric power consumption of the air conditioning system. The inverter controls the outdoor fan in a rotation state predicted from a capacity demand in an air conditioning space depending on an operation mode and sensor values. The controller predicts the capacity demand and controls a rotation rate of the outdoor fan based on a prediction of the capacity demand.
