摘要： An image forming device capable of attaching and detaching a process cartridge to and from a frame without mechanical interference of the process cartridge with sheet feed unit and an LED array and without any movement of the LED array. 1. The image forming device includes the process cartridge detachably assembled in a frame and accessible through a front opening upon opening a door. The cartridge includes a casing movably supported by the frame, a photosensitive drum, a charger, and a developing roller. A sheet cassette is detachably installed to the frame at a position below the process cartridge for accommodating a stack of sheets. A sheet feed unit is supported to the process cartridge. The LED array is supported to the frame and is provided independent of the casing. A guide structure is provided at tire frame to guide movement of the process cartridge along with the sheet feed unit from an image forming operating position toward the door and away from the LED array.

Provided on the label is a connector-connection indication which indicates an orientation of the battery-side connector to be connected along with a battery-housing indication which indicates a shape and a housing orientation of the battery to be housed in the housing part. This provides a guiding indication easy to view and understand, allowing a smooth, correct connection between the battery and the apparatus body through the connectors.

摘要： A tape printing device is provided with a device body. A cassette holding section is formed on one end side portion in the longitudinal direction of the body. A battery holding section is formed on the other end side portion of the device body. A plurality of batteries are accommodated in the battery holding section. At least two batteries are aligned such that the longitudinal direction of the batteries is substantially parallel with the longitudinal direction of the device body. The tape printing device further includes a printing system, and a driving system that feeds a tape-form recording medium. In the tape printing device, the device body has a gripping portion formed on the other end side portion of the device body. The width of the gripping portion of the device body is narrower than the width of the cassette holding section.

摘要： In the position detection device, a timing fence is formed with a plurality of slits which are arranged in its elongated direction. An elongated metal member is provided for supporting the timing fence so that the timing fences will extend in the scanning direction of the image recording head. An encoder is provided for counting the slits on the timing fence while the carriage moves.
