摘要: Highly-ordered nanostructure arrays and methods of preparation of the highly-ordered nanostructure arrays for adsorption of pollutants are disclosed. The highly-ordered nanostructure arrays can be vertically aligned metal oxide nanotube arrays having metal-deposited carbon nanotubes within the nanostructures. The metal-deposited carbon nanotubes within the nanostructures increase the adsorption of the pollutants, as discussed in greater detail below. The highly-ordered nanostructure arrays can be included in various filters, such as cigarette filters, to adsorb carcinogens and pollutants from the tobacco smoke.
