摘要: A heat transmission unit includes a channel conducting a coolant, and a channel conducting a fluid to be cooled. The two channels are separated from each other by a wall provided with ribs extending therefrom into at least one of the two channels. The channel conducting the fluid to be cooled includes a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. The channel is separated by a partition wall, arranged in flow direction, into a first and a second partial channel having a first partial inlet for fluid and a second partial inlet for fluid, and a first partial outlet for fluid and a second partial outlet for fluid. At least the first partial inlet for fluid is adapted to be shut off by a first shut-off device.

摘要: The invention relates to an air-intake duct system (1) in which a throttle valve (40), an exhaust gas recirculating valve (29), a bypass valve (19), an exhaust gas cooler (11), against which exhaust gas flows via bypass valve (19), and, optionally, an air mass sensor are integrated. A complete intake unit for modern engines is hereby created, with which achieves a charging optimization and thus a reduction in fuel consumption as well as a reduction in pollutants by a corresponding thermal management in the engine by the exhaust gas cooler (11) that, together with a shell (3, 4) of the housing (2), is manufactured as a single piece. The individual add-on pieces (12, 19, 29, 40, 59) are optimally matched to one another and have, due to their designs, a low weight and a low finishing work requirement. This makes it possible to distinctly reduce assembly and manufacturing costs.

摘要: Previous heat transmission units have only low cooling efficiencies in case of small fluid mass flows. According to the invention, it is proposed to configure a heat transmission unit (1) in such a manner that a channel (4) conducting the fluid to be cooled is separated, by a partition wall (14;23,24;29,30), into at least two separated partial channels (15,16), a first one of these channels being adapted to be shut off by a shut-off means (21;27;31) arranged at a first partial fluid inlet (17) of this channel. Preferably, in spite of the closed condition of this inlet cross section, full use is made of the existing cooler surface in that there is effected, by suitable arrangement of the partition walls (14;23,24;29, 30) and by further shut-off means (28;32), a deflection of the fluid mass flow in the heat transmission unit (1). A heat transmission unit of the above configuration is particularly suited for exhaust-gas recirculation in internal combustion engines; thus, an optimum cooling performance can be obtained throughout various exhaust-gas recirculation rates.

Through this type of eccentric disposition and simultaneous realization of the peripheral surface, the housing can be realized without undercuts and nonetheless precise dosing can be achieved in the case of small pivot angles.

摘要: The invention relates to a controllable two-way valve (1), in which a valve rod (3) is connected in a permanent manner to at least two valve members (4, 5, 6, 24, 25; 39, 40), the valve rod (3) being actuated by means of an actuator (2). The housing (7) comprises an inlet (8; 4) or outlet and two corresponding outlets (9; 32; 42), (10; 28; 43) or inlets. According to the invention, the two valve members (4, 5, 6; 24, 25; 39, 40) correspond with at least two valve seats (12, 17, 22; 29, 37, 38; 46, 47) and the two or more valve members (4, 5, 6; 24, 25; 39, 40) have three control surfaces (11, 13, 18; 26, 27, 31; 44, 45, 48). The invention thus provides a dirt-resistant valve, which is easy to operate, has fixed valve members and does not require additional equipment. Said valve permits both the inlet to be completely blocked and the two outlets to be controlled independently of one another.
