摘要: An intake and exhaust system includes an engine, an intake air channel, an exhaust gas channel, an EGR channel, an EGR valve, and a control device. By adjusting an opening degree of the EGR valve, the control device executes EGR control processing to control a flowrate of a recirculating exhaust gas. An isolation valve is disposed in the EGR channel closer to the exhaust gas channel than the EGR valve is. An air admittance valve is disposed in the EGR channel closer to the exhaust gas channel than the EGR valve is and closer to the intake air channel than the isolation valve is. The control device executes learning processing to learn a relationship between an actual flowrate and a reference flowrate while the isolation valve is closed and the air admittance valve is opened. The control device executes the EGR control processing based on a learning processing result.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for controlling EGR rate of a low pressure EGR system, a system and a vehicle. The method calculates a molar concentration of water molecules of exhaust gas processed by EGR cooler, calculates a molar concentration of water molecules, obtains coefficient as to excess air, and calculates a molar volume ratio of air according to the coefficient. Under a maximum limit of humidity, an allowable EGR rate of the exhaust gas processed by the EGR cooler is determined and an allowable EGR rate of the mixed gas before entry into supercharger and/or compressor is also determined, a lower EGR rate between the two allowable rates is set as a maximum for application actual working conditions. The present disclosure solves a problem of condensation caused by an introduction of exhaust gas from the existing gasoline engine.

摘要: A valve device increases or decreases a flow rate of EGR gas. The valve device includes a housing, a bypass valve body, and an EGR valve body. The housing includes a first upstream passage into which the EGR gas cooled by an EGR cooler flows, a second upstream passage into which the EGR gas that bypasses the EGR cooler flows, and a downstream passage connected to the first upstream passage and the second upstream passage, and provided downstream with respect to the first upstream passage and the second upstream passage. The bypass valve body opens and closes the second upstream passage. The EGR valve body is provided in the downstream passage and rotates around an EGR valve axis to open and close the downstream passage.

摘要: An engine control device including: a turbocharger; an EGR device that includes an EGR passage, an EGR valve, and an EGR cooler; and a PCM that, based on an operation state of an engine, controls the EGR valve to adjust an EGR rate that is a ratio of an EGR gas amount to a total amount of gas introduced to a cylinder of the engine. The PCM controls the EGR valve such that, in a high load range and a medium load range for the engine, the EGR device recirculates the EGR gas into an intake passage; and controls the EGR valve such that an EGR rate in the high load range is lower than an EGR rate in the medium load range at a same engine speed.

摘要: The inverse engine model or feed forward controller 310 takes the controlled state estimates 324 generated by the engine observer model 304, the model corrections 320 generated by the observer controller 306, desired state inputs 322 and various system parameters 326 and calculates desired engine state commands 330 and feed forward mass flow terms 332 to achieve the desired D/A and F/A values included in the desired state inputs 322. A fresh air and exhaust gas control method for an engine includes monitoring parameters of an engine in an operational state using a plurality of sensors and generating engine state estimates using an engine observer model. The engine observer model represents an intake manifold volume, an exhaust manifold volume, and a charge air cooler volume. The method also includes generating a turbocharger rotational speed estimate using a turbocharger model and calculating a fresh air flow correction factor. The method further includes determining a desired air throttle position and a desired EGR valve position based on setpoint commands, the monitored engine parameters, the fresh air flow correction factor, the engine state estimates, and the turbocharger rotational speed estimate. The method additionally includes adjusting the air throttle based on the desired air throttle position and adjusting the EGR valve based on the desired EGR valve position.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided for operating a split exhaust engine system that provides blowthrough air and exhaust gas recirculation to an intake passage via a first exhaust manifold and exhaust gas to an exhaust passage via a second exhaust manifold. In one example, in response to an intake throttle being at least partially closed, intake air may be routed from the intake passage to the first exhaust manifold via an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) passage where the intake air may be heated via an EGR cooler. The heated intake air may then be routed to an intake manifold, downstream of the intake throttle, via a flow passage coupled between the first exhaust manifold and the intake manifold.
