Abstract:
A machining machine with an upper rotatingly drivable machining disc, the annular machining plane of which has a machining coating and is facing a lower machining plane, wherein the machining planes form a machining gap between each other. Plural rotor discs are arranged in the gap, which accommodate workpieces in recesses and which can be brought into rotation by means of a roll-off device, wherein the workpieces move along a cycloid path, wherein plural sensor elements for acquiring at least one machining parameter are arranged in the upper machining disc, distributed across its cross section, the sensor elements are each one coupled to an active or passive RFID chip and a reading device is assigned to the upper machining disc for reading out the RFID chips.
Abstract:
An integrated multisensor, in particular for use in an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle is provided. The multisensor includes at least one pressure/temperature sensor, at least one magnetic field sensor, and a plurality of insulating wells, wherein a separate insulating well encloses each pressure/temperature sensor or magnetic field sensor such that the sensors are each electrically and mechanically decoupled from one another.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a monolithic integrated circuit with at least one signal connection carrying a signal and with an interference suppression device integrated in the circuit to reduce radiated interference. The interference suppression device has at least one stripline having a section whose beginning is coupled to the signal connection and whose end is short-circuited, wherein a length of the section is chosen as a function of a predefinable frequency, in particular as a function of a frequency of the radiated interference that is to be suppressed.
Abstract:
An inflatable airbag system for a vehicle seat assembly of a vehicle. The inflatable airbag system includes a cover member adapted for mounting to the vehicle seat assembly. The inflatable airbag system also includes an inflatable airbag adapted to inflate outward from the cover member and outward from the vehicle seat assembly to thereby act as a protective barrier between an occupant of the vehicle seat assembly and an interior surface of the vehicle.
Abstract:
A headrest mechanism including a post extending from a headrest pad, a tubular bushing adapted to be coupled to an occupant seat, a slider assembly, and an actuator. The slider assembly is moveably positioned within the bushing and includes a block selectively moveable between a position engaged with and a position disengaged with the bushing. A post of the headrest pad is coupled to the slider assembly such that movement of the slider assembly causes the headrest pad to move.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and system for testing error detection programs dedicated for detecting hardware failures in a computer system, in which error case patterns comprising stimuli values are generated and response patterns to the hardware are evaluated. In order to develop and debug such error detection programs already at an early phase during hardware development it is proposed to feed a simulation model (26) of said hardware with said error patterns, and after running said model, evaluating (12) the model response patterns generated by the simulation model and comparing the response patterns with those expected as a result of the error detection program.
Abstract:
The present invention involves a pelvis activated vehicle seat and headrest assembly for rear impact of a vehicle. The vehicle seat includes a seatback frame and the headrest assembly includes a pelvis activated support assembly attached to the seatback frame. The seatback frame includes an upper cross member having two side members integrally and oppositely attached on either end of the upper cross member. The side members extend downwardly and are attached to each other by a lower cross member. The support assembly includes a reaction plate and an impact target. The impact target is pivotably attached proximate the bottom portion of the seatback frame. The reaction plate is pivotally attached to each side member by pivoting side links. The impact target is slidably connected to the reaction plate to move the headrest cushion to an actuated position forward and above a normal position.
Abstract:
In order to design a multipole electrical connector (1) with double locking of the contact portions (2) by a finger (7) engaging in the contact portion (2) and by a thrust element (10) which can be inserted laterally in a housing (3) of insulating material, in such a way that the housing (3) of insulating material and the contact portion (2) in the insertion region are protected against damage, the thrust element (10) consists of a locking comb (11) and a cover plate (12) which are connected to each other in one piece by integrally formed transverse webs (13).
Abstract:
In a probe disposed at the distal end of a heart catheter for the coagulation of muscle and connective tissues by subjecting them to a high frequency field, a pressure sensor is provided for measuring the axial force effective on the probe tip which pressure sensor inlcudes a plastic body with an axial bore into which a light conductor extends and which has at its end opposite the light conductor a mirror for reflecting light supplied through the light conductor back into the light conductor. The plastic body is resiliently movably supported with respect to the light conductor so that the light reflected by the mirror back into the light conductor depends on the displacement of the probe tip caused by a pressure force applied to the probe tip.
Abstract:
A conveying system comprising elements for conveying lumpy, particularly hot, conveying stock and a cover for shielding the conveying stock. Disclosed are measures for inerting the conveying stock. A combined system encompasses a reduction plant for reducing oxides in a continuous process and processing unit for producing liquid metal in a discontinuous process. The reduction product is deliverable from the reduction plant to the processing unit. A method for coupling a reduction method used for reducing oxides in a continuous process and a method used for producing liquid metal in a discontinuous process. A reduction product from the reduction method is fed to the liquid metal production method for processing.
