摘要： A design support method of verifying control on a device of an image forming apparatus registers, in a storage device, trigger information for specifying a content of control to be executed when a start condition for switching the control state of the device is satisfied (S1002). The apparatus then registers, in the storage device, the allowable range of the state change of the device due to control switched when the start condition is satisfied (S1003). The apparatus then verifies whether the state change of the device due to the control switched when the start condition is satisfied falls outside the allowable range, by referring to the operation state of the device which is input through an input unit, and the trigger information registered in the storage device (S1004).

摘要： An image forming apparatus is provided, in carrying out an image forming operation using a paper sheet, that uses a sheet containing a wireless tag that stores an address storing control information for performing an optimum image forming. The image forming apparatus obtains the address from the wireless tag using a receiving device, and obtains control information from a server via a network based on the obtained address. The image forming apparatus controls an image forming condition based on the control information, and carries out the image forming under image forming conditions optimum for the sheet.

In this case, the server selects the multi-function peripheral from registered multi-function peripherals based on the IP address to which the received data is addressed, and relationship map information, and then transfers the received data to the selected multi-function peripheral.

摘要： An image reading apparatus which enables reduction of time to be taken from a job start instruction to a reading operation start. An automatic document feeder unit feeds an original. An upstream reader reads an image on one side of the original fed by the automatic document feeder unit. A downstream reader is disposed downstream of the upstream reader in an original feeding direction, to read an image on another side of the original. The upstream reader and the downstream reader read images of respective white reference plates, and the image reading apparatus generates correction data for the upstream reader and the downstream reader based on the images of the respective white reference plates read by the upstream reader and the downstream reader.
