摘要： A spring actuated engagement device for remotely coupling a movable member to a stationary member comprises a fixture mountable onto a stationary member, a spring biased bar that is axially displaceable within a central recess formed within the fixture, an abutting element extending outwardly from the bar for actuating the spring, and a seating element outwardly spaced from the fixture and longitudinally spaced from the abutting element. The abutting element is axially displaceable in a first direction when contacted by a first edge of a movable member, allowing a second edge of the movable member to be received in an interspace between the seating element and the outer face, and to be axially displaced in a second direction after a force that initiated the contact with the first edge is released. A pivotally displaceable locking device, when set to a locked condition, prevents displacement of the actuator.

The door utilizes a mounting tape which is affixed between the door frame and the surface which supports the door as well as acting as a seal. The mounting tape allows installation by a single individual. The door may be further held in position by a minimal number of screws after being attached initially using the mounting tape. A core surround member may also be part of the door. The core surround covers a gap between the door and the door frame from view.

摘要： A hinge assembly allows an access panel to be pivotally coupled to a cabinet, even though the cabinet includes a top cover that overlaps an upper edge of the panel. To open the access panel, a latch is actuated to first release a lower edge of the panel. The hinge assembly then allows the lower edge to be pulled out from over a base rail of the cabinet. Once the lower edge is off of the base rail, the hinge assembly allows the panel to be lowered without obstruction from the base rail. Lowering the panel then moves the panel's upper edge out from underneath the overlapping top cover. From there, the hinge assembly allows the panel to be swung open. To close the access panel, the process is reversed.
