    摘要: An electron gun for a high power klystron which includes a cathode which emits electrons; a focus electrode which, connected to the cathode through a supporting member composed of a material of high electric resistivity, makes the electrons emitted from the cathode produce an electron beam; and an anode which accelerates the electron beam produced by the focus electrode. The supporting member composed of a material of high electric resistivity may alternately be provided between the first and the second portions of the focus electrode, or between the cathode and the second focus electrode portion, wherein the two focus electrode portions are arranged adjacently to each other in the axial direction of the device, and wherein the first focus electrode portion is directly connected to the cathode.

    摘要: An image sensor unit has an electric discharge light emitting lamp for producing an illumination beam. The lamp includes a first electrode and a second electrode facing each other and defining a discharge space between them along the longitudinal axis of the lamp. A first light emitting layer and a second light emitting layer are provided in the discharge space so as to face each other and to cover the first and second electrodes, respectively. A dielectric material is inserted between the first electrode and the first light emitting layer, and between the second electrode and the second light emitting layer. At least one of the first and second light emitting layers is arranged so as to define an uncovered region, in which at least one of the dielectric material, the first electrode, and the second electrode is exposed to the discharge space.

    摘要: A drawn film of polyamide having an oxygen permeability coefficient of not more than 5 .times. 10.sup.-13 ml.cm/cm.sup.2.sec.cmHg, a breaking strength of not less than 14 kg/mm.sup.2, a breaking elongation of 30 to 150%, a yield strength of not less than 7 kg/mm.sup.2 and a yield elongation of 2 to 6%, which can be manufactured by drawing an undrawn polyamide film biaxially at a temperature within a certain range and optionally heat treating the resulting drawn film, the said undrawn polyamide film being made of a polyamide having a relative viscosity of about 2.0 to 4.0 when measured with a solution thereof in 96% sulfuric acid at a concentration of 1 g/100 ml at 25.degree. C and containing in the molecule not less than 70% (mol) of the repeating unit constituted with metaxylylenediamine or its mixture with paraxylylenediamine and an .alpha.,.omega.-aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, which is useful as a packaging material due to its excellent properties in tensile strength, yield strength, Young's modulus, heat stability, size stability, transparency, gas barrier property, etc.
