The communication terminal receives the data including the predetermined code, detects the predetermined code, and generates a notification at the completion of data reception when the predetermined code is detected. In another communication system having a communication terminal and a content data server, the content server transmits data on request from the communication terminal. The communication terminal receives the data and generates a notification at the completion of data received according to a time period for receiving the data.

摘要： A radio selective pager capable of preventing an erroneous synchronization with received signals of different transmission rates to avoid an erroneous switch operation from a power saving mode to a continuous receiving mode, improving power saving efficiency and prolonging life of an internal battery. A bit synchronizer synchronizes bits of demodulation data output from a receiver with an internal reference clock. A preamble detector detects a preamble of demodulation data output from the bit synchronizer, and a frame signal detector detects a frame synchronizing signal. When an address number of the demodulation data is coincident with an individual address number stored in an address comparator, a controller controls an indicator to indicate a selective paging to a user. A bit rate detector detects leading and trailing change points of bits of the demodulation data, counts a detection number of at least ones of the leading and trailing change points held within change point detection windows, recognizes the received signal to be of a predetermined transmission rate when the count number is coincident with a predetermined value, and instructs the indicator to do the paging operation to the user.

摘要： In a radio selective calling receiver, a receiving unit extracts a digital signal from a radio signal received through an antenna. A frame synchronization signal detector frame-synchronizes the digital signal output from the receiving unit and outputs a state signal representing a frame synchronization state as one of a pull-in state and a pull-out state. A timer resets a timer value to start a timer operation when the state signal from the synchronization signal detector represents a change from the pull-in state to the pull-out state, and stops the timer operation to output a timer value when the state signal from the synchronization signal detector represents a change from the pull-out state to the pull-in state. A first memory sequentially stores a plurality of timer values from the timer. A second memory stores a reference value calculated on the basis of an average value of the timer values stored in the first memory. A third memory stores in advance data necessary for the radio selective calling receiver. A controller compares a timer value of the timer under operation with the reference value stored in the second memory and resets receiver data using the data stored in the third memory when a comparison result represents a coincidence.
