    摘要: There provided is a low-cost, high performance sampling rate conversion calculating apparatus which achieves both a low delay characteristic required for conversational voice data and high quality required for audio data in a concurrent manner. A first digital signal processing section outputs conversational voice data, which requires the low delay characteristic, in accordance with a sampling frequency of an output terminal (111). A second digital signal processing section outputs audio data, which requires the high quality, rather than the low density characteristic, in accordance with the sampling frequency of the output terminal (111). An adder section (107) adds the conversational voice data outputted from the first digital signal processing section and the audio data outputted from the second digital signal processing section and outputs the added data from the output terminal (111).

    摘要: A Just-In-Time compiler is provided for use with a virtual machine that executes a virtual machine instruction sequence under the control of a real machine. The compiler converts parts of the virtual machine instruction sequence into the real machine instruction sequence before execution and includes a block start information unit that determines whether the encoded block start information indicates a corresponding virtual machine instruction would correspond to the start of a basic block if the virtual machine instruction sequence was divided into basic blocks. A converting unit converts the virtual machine instructions into real machine instruction sequences and an outputting unit rearranges the real machine instruction sequences from the converting unit into basic blocks in accordance with the block start information. Additionally, the compiler can be enabled by a program stored on a computer readable recording medium.

    摘要: A digital broadcast system includes a receiving device, one or more communication devices, and a broadcast station device. The receiving device includes a receiver for receiving a digitally broadcast program; a presentor for presenting the program received by the receiver to a viewer; and means for sending program ID information that specifies either the presented program or a program related to the presented program. Each of the communication devices receives the sent program ID information and sends communication device ID information to the broadcast station device together with the received program ID information. The broadcast station device receives the program ID information and the device ID information, and sends viewer targeted program specific service information to each of the communication devices identified by the received device ID information.
