摘要： A method for receiving a broadcast signal of the present invention may comprise the steps of: receiving the broadcast signal for transmitting a plurality of sessions corresponding to a first channel and a second channel; simultaneously opening the plurality of sessions corresponding to the first channel and the second channel and acquiring broadcast service data included in the plurality of sessions; decoding the broadcast service data included in at least one session corresponding to the first channel among the plurality of opened sessions; and when the first channel is switched to the second channel, decoding the broadcast service data included in at least one session corresponding to the second channel among the plurality of opened sessions.

An example method to decode audio data includes receiving audio data having protected information embedded in the audio data; receiving a license file containing a first portion of a set of information required to access the protected information embedded in the audio data;processing the license file to obtain at least one of decoding information, message codes, a decoding algorithm or diagnostic information; producing a stream of symbol values for each code symbol included in the received audio signal; accumulating the stream of symbol values in a storage device; detecting the presence of an encoded message; outputting the detected message.

摘要： A unified system of programming communication. The system encompasses the prior art (television, radio, broadcast hardcopy, computer communications, etc.) and new user specific mass media. Within the unified system, parallel processing computer systems, each having an input (e.g., 77) controlling a plurality of computers (e.g., 205), generate and output user information at receiver stations. Under broadcast control, local computers (73, 205), combine user information selectively into prior art communications to exhibit personalized mass media programming at video monitors (202), speakers (263), printers (221), etc. At intermediate transmission stations (e.g., cable television stations), signals in network broadcasts and from local inputs (74, 77, 97, 98) cause control processors (71) and computers (73) to selectively automate connection and operation of receivers (53), recorder/players (76), computers (73), generators (82), strippers (81), etc. At receiver stations, signals in received transmissions and from local inputs (225, 218, 22) cause control processors (200) and computers (205) to automate connection and operation of converters (201), tuners (215), decryptors (224), recorder/players (217), computers (205), furnaces (206), etc. Processors (71, 200) meter and monitor availability and usage of programming.

摘要： A method and system of transmitting a plurality of wide-area surveillance area-of-interest video codestreams is described, First and second video codestreams are generated from a plurality of large format images that are captured sequentially in time. The first video codestream has a first plurality of areas-of-interest selected from the plurality of large format images and the second video codestream has a second plurality of areas-of-interest from the same plurality of large format images. The first video codestream is generated at a first frame rate and the second video codestream is generated at a second frame rate and the first and second video codestreams are combined to obtain a combined video codestream at third frame rate. The combined video codestream is then transmitted through a link to a demultiplexer that regenerates the first and second video codestreams.
