Herein, the counter common electrode is electrically connected to a common electrode, thereby preventing an overload and a short-circuit of the common electrode, even though the common electrode is formed in a thin layer.

The organic electro-luminescent display includes a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate which are arranged to face each other while being spaced apart from each other by a predetermined distance, a transistor formed on the first transparent substrate, a spacer formed on the second transparent substrate, a first electrode formed on surfaces of the second transparent substrate and the spacer, and electrically connected to the transistor, an organic electro-luminescent layer formed on the first electrode, and a second electrode formed on the organic electro-luminescent layer, wherein the first electrode has a projecting part projected with the spacer toward the first substrate, exposed between neighboring organic electro-luminescent layers and between neighboring second electrodes so as to connect to the transistor.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display device of the present invention has a plurality of gate lines and data lines perpendicularly formed to define the pixel areas. A first semiconductor layer is formed on each pixel area of a substrate and has a source area and a drain area. A second semiconductor layer is formed on each pixel area of the substrate and is used for a storage capacitor electrode. A gate electrode is formed between the source and drain of the first semiconductor layer and contacts each gate line. A common electrode line is formed under each data line to make contact with the second semiconductor layer, and is used for the storage capacitor electrode. A pixel electrode is formed in each pixel area, making contact with the drain area of the first semiconductor layer.

    摘要: Method for fabricating a liquid crystal display, is disclosed, including the steps of forming a first semiconductor layer in a thin film transistor region on a substrate and forming a second semiconductor layer in a storage capacitor region on the substrate, forming a gate insulating film on the first, and second semiconductor layers and forming a gate electrode over the first semiconductor layer in the thin film transistor region, injecting impurity ions into entire surface of the substrate using the gate electrode as a mask in forming a source region and a drain region in the first semiconductor layer, forming a first interlayer insulating film on entire surface of the substrate including the gate electrode and forming a first contact hole such that the first contact hole exposes the source region, forming a data line on a part of the first interlayer insulating film such that the data line is connected to the source region through the first contact hole, forming a second interlayer insulating film on entire surface of the substrate including the data line and forming second, third contact holes such that the second, and third contact holes expose the gate insulating film on the second semiconductor layer and the drain region respectively and forming a pixel electrode on the second interlayer insulating film such that the pixel electrode is connected to the gate insulating film on the second semiconductor layer and the drain region through the second and third contact holes respectively and forming a protection film on entire surface including the pixel electrode, whereby a numerical aperture can be improving allowing improvement of picture quality.
