    摘要: An electronic device may include wireless communications circuitry that communicates in multiple radio-frequency communications bands such as cellular or local area network bands. The radio-frequency communications bands may be divided into channels that are each associated with a frequency range within a corresponding radio-frequency communications band. The electronic device may identify whether frequency harmonics associated with communications in a first radio-frequency communications band interfere with communications in a second radio-frequency communications band. The electronic device may identify channels in the second radio-frequency communications band that are affected by the frequency harmonics of the communications in the first radio-frequency communications band and configure the wireless communications circuitry to avoid communicating in the identified channels.

    摘要: Embodiments of a multi-radio platform and method for mitigating the effects of interference are generally described herein. In some embodiments, the multi-radio platform includes co-located radios including a Bluetooth transceiver and a wireless network transceiver. The wireless network transceiver may apply a transmit-active noise-cancellation matrix to signals received by the wireless network transceiver when the Bluetooth transceiver is transmitting and may apply a transmit-inactive noise-cancellation matrix to signals received when the Bluetooth transceiver is not transmitting. The transmit-active noise-cancellation matrix may mitigate effects of emissions generated by the Bluetooth transceiver when the Bluetooth transceiver is transmitting. The transmit-inactive noise-cancellation matrix is to mitigate effects of platform noise generated by platform elements of the multi-radio platform.

    摘要: Techniques are disclosed that involve communicating in bursty noise environments. For instance, a source device may send a probing packet to a destination device. This probing packet is for determining whether the communications medium (e.g., one or more frequency channels) is currently exhibiting a busy or jammed (e.g., due to bursty noise) condition. More particularly, based on whether an acknowledgment of the probing packet is received, the source device determines whether the channel is jammed (or busy) or clear. For example, an unacknowledged probing packet indicates that the channel is jammed or busy, while an acknowledged probing packet indicates that the channel is clear. If the channel is determined to be clear, then the source device may transmit one or more data packets to the destination device. Such data packet transmissions may be in accordance with a non rate-adaptive technique.
