Abstract: A communication method and apparatus are provided. The method includes: A first network device determines a first time domain resource, and sends a first signal on the first time domain resource. The first time domain resource includes N1 first time domain symbols and N2 second time domain symbols. A difference between any two adjacent first time domain symbols in the N, first time domain symbols is T1 time domain symbols. A difference between any two adjacent second time domain symbols in the N2 second time domain symbols is T2 time domain symbols. T2>T1, and N1 and N2 are positive integers. According to the solutions, the first network device sends the first signal on the N1 first time domain symbols with a periodicity of T1 and the N2 second time domain symbols with a periodicity of T2.

Abstract: An access method and a communication apparatus are provided. The method includes: A terminal device receives first indication information from a first network device, receives access indication information from a second network device, and initiates access to a target cell of the second network device based on the access indication information. The first indication information indicates the terminal device to initiate the access to the target cell of the second network device based on the access indication information from the second network device. After being indicated to receive the access indication information from the second network device, the terminal device initiates the access to the target cell of the second network device.

Abstract: Inter prediction method and apparatus are disclosed to resolve problems in the conventional technology that prediction samples obtained in an inter prediction mode are spatially discontinuous, prediction efficiency is affected, and prediction residual energy is relatively high. The method includes: parsing a bitstream to obtain motion information of a to-be-processed picture block; performing motion compensation on the to-be-processed picture block based on the obtained motion information, to obtain a prediction block of the to-be-processed picture block, where the prediction block of the to-be-processed picture block includes a prediction value of a target sample; and performing weighting calculation on one or more reconstructed values of one or more reference samples and the prediction value of the target sample, to update the prediction value of the target sample, where the reference sample(s) have a preset spatial position relationship with the target sample.

Abstract: This application provides methods and apparatus for sending feedback information. By binding a BAR-BA feedback manner, that is, first a request and then a feedback, when it is determined that data retransmission is performed by using a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) mechanism, duration of an acknowledgment operation performed by a data receive end on retransmitted data may be increased. Alternatively, the receive end estimates duration required for feeding back a receiving status of the retransmitted data, and feeds back the duration to a transmit end. The transmit end may therefore adaptively adjust duration of the retransmitted data based on a feedback capability of the receive end, to ensure that the feedback of the receive end on the receiving status of the retransmitted data is within a short inter-frame space (SIFS).

Abstract: An integrated terrestrial/non-terrestrial network may allow for enhanced network coverage. However, there are control and management challenges associated with an integrated terrestrial/non-terrestrial network because the network and user equipments (UEs) are no longer confined to only using conventional cellular communication via terrestrial transmit-and-receive points (T-TRPs). One challenge is how to perform beam management. In some embodiments, methods and systems are disclosed in which an indication of angular direction (e.g. beam direction) is provided by the T-TRP. The indication of angular direction may be used by a UE for communicating with a non-terrestrial TRP (NT-TRP), e.g. using beamforming. However, the methods are not limited to integrated terrestrial/non-terrestrial networks or the involvement of NT-TRPs, but apply more generally to indicating angular direction for directional communication.

Abstract: A scheduler obtains a to-be-processed job; and controls at least one super node based on a resource requirement of the to-be-processed job to process the to-be-processed job based on a global memory pool of the super node, where the to-be-processed job is a processing request related to a distributed application. In this way, because the global memory pool is a resource that is constructed through unified addressing on storage media of nodes in the super node and that is shared by the nodes in the super node, the nodes in the super node that are coupled using a high-speed interconnection technology share and access the global memory pool to process the to-be-processed job.
