    摘要: A focus control device for a beam projector allows the focus of a lens assembly to be finely and easily controlled. The focus control device includes: a control member rotatably mounted on the beam projector for controlling the focus of a lens assembly; a rotary eccentric member provided in the control member, the rotary eccentric member having a control axis eccentric to the rotary axis of the control member, and being rotated while depicting an elliptical trace in response to the rotation of the control member; a focus guide member provided in the rotary eccentric member, the focus guide member allowing the lens assembly to be moved rectilinearly in the direction of an optical axis in response to the rotation of the control member; and an actuating member provided in the lens assembly and coupled to the focus guide member, the actuating member moving the lens assembly in the direction of the optical axis in response to the movement of the focus guide member. According to the present invention, with the rotation of the rotary dial, the moving distance of the lens assembly can be easily controlled, and the lens assembly can be moved finely to project a sharp picture image.

    摘要: An ultra-slim portable terminal is disclosed. The ultra-slim portable terminal includes a body having a first portion and a second portion. An auxiliary display unit which is always exposed to the outside is provided on the upper surface of the first portion of the body, and the second portion of the body is recessed from the first portion of the body by a certain depth. A folder including a main display unit is connected to the body by a hinge to open and close the second portion. When the folder is folded onto the second portion, it is substantially parallel to the first portion.

    摘要: A waterproof structure for a portable terminal including a flexible printed circuit (FPC) extending outside of a first housing of a pair of housings from inside the first housing and arranged inside of a second housing of the pair of housings. A wiring hole is formed in each housing to provide a path allowing passage of the FPC therethrough. A waterproof member provided in the wiring hole substantially contacts at least inner walls of the housings and an outer circumferential surface of the FPC to prevent movement of the FPC. An outer circumferential surface of the waterproof member substantially contacts a circumference of an inlet of the wiring hole or an inner wall of the wiring hole. The waterproof member is provided between the housing of the portable terminal and the FPC improving a waterproof function and preventing moisture or water from being introduced into the housing of the terminal.

    摘要: A portable terminal having a hinge apparatus is provided. The portable terminal includes a first housing, a second housing pivotally coupled to the first housing so that the second housing can be unfolded from and folded onto the first housing, and a hinge apparatus coupling the first housing and the second housing together. The hinge apparatus provides a first hinge axis and a second hinge axis perpendicular to each other, in which, from the folded state in which the second housing is folded on the first housing, the second housing is operable to rotate about the first hinge axis to be located in an upper side of the first housing and to rotate about the second hinge axis to be located in a first side of the first housing. Also, the hinge apparatus allows the second housing to rotate about the first hinge axis to be unfolded at an angle of approximately 90° with respect to the first housing and then rotate about the second hinge axis so that an inner face of the second housing is oriented in a same direction in which a first side of the portable terminal faces. Therefore, the hinge apparatus provides a portable terminal that is convenient to use not only communication functions, but also multimedia services such as watching broadcastings.

The sliding module includes a fixed plate engaged with the main body, a moving plate being engaged with the sliding body and sliding along the sliding distance. A sliding module is provided between the fixed plate and the moving plate and provides a dead point position between the start position and a center position of the sliding distance, or closer to the start position to slide the moving plate. The dead position prevents the accidental closing of the sliding body and loss of communication if a user's hand slips during the opening of the sliding body to expose a portion of the main body.
